Sorry people, it isn't happening. I just can't concentrate. Wired, if it gets a problem, just automove Chris for a while, although I will try again tomorrow. Terhen will hold, I guess. Sorry again, just, stuff.

That's OK. Stuff happens, and we hope everything is all right and it all works out. Be well!

Sorry for the delay, serious illness in the family. And now it seems I posted at the same time as Scythe did. Fortunately it seems the posts don't bite each-other, so I'm going to leave it there.

Wired, I'll try writing something for Terhen too, later tonight, it's just taking me a while to get into any character.

Once again, sorry all. Apparently, Christiaan either talks a lot or he is very silent - maybe he's shy

Yeah, don't worry about it. I quickly deleted it and reposted it after yours.

I hope the illness has abated; you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Take your time, everyone, this isn't a race.

Looks like the DC blizzards are done with, we just have mounds of snow blocking everything. The Federal Govt was still on a two-hour delay and traffic was insane because some lanes are full of snow, and a lot of street parking is full of snow. One of our vehicles is stuck and aI'll have to figure out how to pull it out of its stuck-ness, my ATM card expired over the snow days and I couldn't buy breakfast this morning, the antibiotics are working slow...waaaah. But we had power all through the thing, unlike some, and we had stocked up on plenty of food and we thank the Lord for all of our blessings. And it's good to get back to the routine.

Ugh Dave, that sounds bad. To think we’ve been complaining about the weather over here, compared to you guys a couple of cold-fronts aren’t so bad. There was just about enough ice to hold the National Championships on Natural Ice, but no way we could get to the very big events, just short tours.

As to my personal trouble, I didn’t mean to be mysterious. An 18 year old girl in our family was diagnosed with leukaemia. In between hospital visits, family visits, general worry and work, it’s just hard to remember to post. I’ll try to do better though, no-one is helped by me moping on the couch, so I might as well use that time to do something fun.

Hang in there, then. Everything's fine here, snows will pass. Cancer is tough, but have hope, there's a lot that can be done nowadays. Good to have you back.

Thanks, new problem; my internetconnection was supposed to be taken over by a new host today. Old host is gone, nothing yet from new one. Should be there tonight, but you know how these companies work, I guess. Argh, sorry. I'm at a work now, but won't have any more computer access there till friday, so, fingers crossed that my own connection is restored tonight

We've been under the weather here too; when you have kids, it becomes the whole family sick, vs. just one or both of you. But, everyone seems to be on the mend.

The next posts should be from William and/or Christiaan, when you get a chance.

I'll post tomorrow night, for sure, though don't mind me too much. I don't think William could add anything pertinent right now, so if you need to move forward before then, please go ahead.

EDIT: Would have updated earlier if it wasn't for a power loss... I blame the weather.

Sorry I've been so behind, work has been crazy busy and games at home have gotten busy too - starting a new LOTR campaign, preparing for Cold Wars www.coldwars.org ...sorry. Might post today, might not.

Huh, my answer went astray... But don't worry on my part, I'm still rather pre-occupied with other things. And tonight I'm playing 7th Sea, which turns out to be a brilliant campaign (!) so that's a nice distraction. I'll actually be leaving for that in 15 minutes, so if you post I'll see it tomorrow...

Have a good weekend, everyone.

I am really sorry, I distinctly remember writing up a rather long, detailed post for Joe, now it's nowhere to be seen. That's really frustrating. I bet you were wondering what had happened. Now I am too.

Grrrr...I will try to reconstruct it.

It's not so much a rush as just a desire to set it right...I think I got pretty close to the original.

As it's been almost a month since i posted, I thought I'd let you guys know what is going on.

I've been distracted, in a good way really, but in a way that has bumped these games down to below the priority threshold in my life.

I had some minor health issues, nothing serious, that actually have gotten better (as in, gotten me off my ass and exercising,) including some new meds that are making me feel kinda wierd in a good way...don't ask me to explain that...and the real-life gaming calendar is pretty full, and Beth and I have started recreating more (e.g., we bought a kayak)...aaaaanyway, all these excuses have added up to me not posting. Master of the obvious, eh?

But more to the point (and it's in the nature of these things) I don't know exactly when this situation will change, and I'm very focused now on other activities, so even when technically I have some time (such as at work) I don't want to shift mental tracks to concentrate on it, very much.

Part of it might be that I am reading some annoyingly depressing stuff that I really want to make it through - I hate to not finish a series - but doesn't make me want to write. (Another ebay sale! when I am done...)

So bottom line, I apologise, but I'm not sure when I'm going to make it up to you guys. Just check back every week or two and see what happens, I guess, and I wish you all well in the meantime.

Dave

Still here, I'll wait Have fun kayaking (sp?) and don't read depressing stuff. Sometimes it is okay to call it quits, you know.
