Ooo Ooo! Arteris can accidentally get killed when instead when Cyric tries to murder Tik Tik. Then we can all be like "OMFG You killed Arteris! You bastard, roofles!" And then we can gank him and take his stuff!


On the subject of the cultists, jeez, what do they think they're doing? If they're going to come after us in armor that's only use is giving it's wearer tetenus they might as well just give up.

BTW, Corrin's id would like to know where the womens are.

You can already buy Sacrifice for 6.50 on on www.gog.com and not have to use Steam to start it. Good Old Games is great. I've bought three games from there so far... or was it two... er, well anyway, it's a great site that I have never had any problems with and has tons of old and not so old games all for 10 dollars or less, and all without any form of DLC, not even something like Steam.

Well aside from being idiots they're pretty fugly. Probably joined the cult because they were hobos that got pelted with filth or something. in other words, minions. the gnome and the halfling on the other hand have half decent gear.

Behold yon wonders of ancient civilizations past! Okay time to kill them and take their stuff.

Oh and on a note actually related to the game, how would you guys feel about ditching exp and being awarded levels based on completing certain parts of the story instead (like saving Douven or killing the big bad's right hand man). Eliminates the need for the glossed over encounters.

I'm not quite sure who your attacking there scythe. are you shifting and attacking the halfling or the gnome? Because it seems pretty dumb to burn your daily on an enemy with only one hit point in the first place.

Since when does enemies have 1 hp? A cat has more hit points than that!

That's dumb.

And yes, I was attacking the cultists, the guy in pink on my left. If you're really sending enemies with 1hp, might as well say so so I don't waste any of my good powers.

He did say so so you wouldn't waste any of your good powers. I suppose you meant, "In the first place", which I wonder about too. Why make enemies with only one HP anyway? Unless he foresaw that Corrin wouldn't feel good about killing people with 1 HP wearing -5 Chain Mail of Tetanus, and wanted to make him feel bad.

Actually the purpose is so you can have cannon fodder to mow through to make things cooler. Also they can be pretty deadly when they gang up on you because their damage is usually a set value rather then having to roll to see how hard they hit. and yes the pink guy has only 1 hit point. but if your sure you want to use your daily on him i wont stop you.

I already own it. Also: don't care.

"Minion" is a special category of monster that drops automatically on a direct hit (and only on a direct hit), and very rarely has any special abilities. However, their damage, attack bonus, and defenses are surprisingly good. The result is that the DM can use 4 times as many minions as standard monsters, without making the encounter ineffective and time-consuming.

The opposite would be elite and solo monsters, who have double and five times the hp as standard monsters, and tend to have lots and lots of special abilities, but don't have the high defenses or attack bonus of higher-level monsters. That makes them less risky to fight.

If you see a large group threatening you with wooden utensils, you can assume that it's a waste to use any good abilities on them individually.

If PY doesn't mind, I'll exchange my daily... I'll make sure it uses the same attack roll... okay?

And since I apparently hit him, no AP is going to be used (if he had one anyways, I'm not sure if we rested enough at the town...)

I'll move near Betta for her powers to work; however, if my Second Chance turns out positive, I won't be losing any hit points, so maybe prepare an second course of action?

I'm not really sure what I'll do if the status quo isn't maintained by my action. Cyric could still be injured by the cultists or the gnome, or Corrin might be injured instead. Or maybe no one within 5 squares will be injured at all. My charge might even be blocked by someone's movement.

My rule of thumb is not to use inspiring word unless someone's taken at least their healing surge +4 damage. So if no one else in range has taken that much by my turn, I'll just drop my minor action.

Just imagine youʻre playing a WoW, but with a plot and NPCs that donʻt stand around with an exclamation mark floating over their heads.
