Insanity usually isn't loud and explosive. It's what happens when you start listening to that little voice in the back of your head asking, "Got room for one more?".

That being said: Got room for one more?

Finals done, so I expect to finally get around to remaking my sheet for R9 this week. I apologize for the delay.

Also dabo, you should totally take Merbak on. Just saying.

Holidays are slowing things down, but I'm checking in at least once a day to see if there are updates.

That's because the URL was within the Orp domain. I fixed it so it now points where it said it was pointing at.

To save Dabo having to respond as much, could you guys give me a word or two for an idea of what your characters do? (I'd like to make mine sync with the group well, without taking over other people's niches - I have 3 main concepts currently, which may or may not be exactly what the group already has a bunch of)

Here's what I think I know, (and would like to know) from reading around here and the Acquisition Thread:
AOM - some kind of Jedi (lightsaber monster, balanced, heavy force user or something else?)
Krypton - some kind of Jedi Sith Hunter (same question)
EC - I assume R9 is a hacker/programmer/mechanical character, please tell me if I'm wrong
Keylan - Mandolorian Soldier (shooter or a melee guy)
Red - Armored Dude (shooter or melee)
Leod - Melee dude of some kind?

Ariq is a Jedi Sentinel, specializing in not being seen and whipping Sith up and down the galaxy.

Enni is also a Jedi Sentinel, but likely less specialized and more general purpose jedi than Ariq. She is also a very good pilot.

Ardana's an armor-specialist Soldier with auto-firing weapons as preferred weaponry, and a heavy emphasis on the mechanic skill; specifically doing practical modifications to stuff.

Arlighty. I've come up with my basic idea and sent it to our glorious leader. Zreshak is (in his current, very not final state) an initiate of sorts into the Wardens of the Sky (no force powers developed, but MA training very developed). He's stealthy, quiet, and has a *montser* of a right hook.

I haven't heard from Leo, and last I heard he didn't have internet so we'll move on without him for now

Yeah, R9 is mostly a slicer (that is, hacker+mechanics stuff).

I just realized a sort of biggish problem - half of the 2EC R9+Wraeth team has not been on these boards recently.

I'm not sure how to justify R9 being here but not Wraeth... short of Wraeth's death, but that seems a tad extreme... maybe he was captured, or something?

Anyways, I really, really, really intend to get on finalizing R9 by the end of the week. Super promise. I swear. Of course we've all heard that before.

I've been trying to think of what to do with Wraeth if the other EC didn't come over to this game. Those options had crossed my mind as of right now I'm rolling with: Wraeth left with Farik and Nessa to deal with some sort of crisis on Kashyyk and asked Enni to take care of R9 for now. Is that acceptable?

The big problem with that, or any other plan involving Wraeth going away voluntarily, is that there'd have to be a very, very important reason for R9 not to go with Wraeth. Remember, Wraeth is like a father, a brother, a best friend rolled into one for R9, plus the only real lasting contact he's ever had. R9 has... issues... about Wraeth leaving him.

Still, I suppose your way could work. I'll just make R9 even more angsty. He'll be touchy, bitingly cynical, dark and moody. And he'll be the best damn splicer on the team, plus handy in espionage and combat.

Ah! I got why Wraeth and R9 had to split up: Since they're the best in the group in terms of slicing+mechanics and such (practically the only in the group too), and since the group needed to split in order to complete two different missions (hence why Farik, Nessa, and Wraeth leave together), they needed to split up, so that each group could have some slicing ability.

Sweet, so I'll be upping Independent Droid class then.

Edit: By the way, would you guys consider having the sheets made public? I worked pretty hard on R9's bio (back in Shake's game) and I'd kind of like to share it with the group.

OR - perhaps Wraeth is presumed dead by everyone but in fact he made a narrow escape. He's been separated and is having his own adventures on the side, trying to make it back to his friends.

By the way, dabocim, is the battle going forward?

Yeah, about that battle thread - who is that for, precisely?

Also, if my calculations are correct, my new force point total would be 32? Is anybody else sitting on that high a total?

Leveling is in process. I leave the choice about what's going on with Wraeth to dabo.

Edit: Oh and I should mention, R9 is not just a great slicer (and decent infiltrator/combatant), but is also a great medic. So we've got healer covered.

The battle is for Wraeth and Enni as the rest of the characters in my version were not there during the scene

EC, I'm pretty sure Force points reset at each level. So the best you could possibly do (as a Force Adept, with all the needed force point feats/talents) would be 6 (base) + 5 (half level) + 3 (feat) + 6 (Mystic Talent) = 20.

Ah, okay, resetting at each level makes sense. I'm at 11 then.

Hmm... I wonder what's going on in that battle, and why Wraeth is there but not R9... Interesting...

It's not Wraeth. It's Ariq and Enni. We're having the classic banter back and forth with Darth Aurus as we trade lightsaber blows on the bridge of her flagship. Presumably, it is to be both a semi-conclusion to Shakespeare's vaporized campaign, and a segway into dabocim's campaign. Revelations about the Jedi's past, and temptations to join the dark side.

Ah, okay then.

Edit: I am finally done getting R9 to level 11. There.

I wrote Wraeth in as down for the count in that battle, so him being presumed dead could fit.

Sorry I've been procrastinating but I'm ready to move on if red and Merbek could throw up their sheets we could get started since I haven't heard from keylan or leo in a while. Also to answer your earlier question AoM I'm getting around to the battle soon
