Sorry shoes I kinda blew right past it. Good points especially the one about then wanting him back. But I'm saying Static took them as rhetorical questions. Expressing concern and warning against possible dangers.
BTW ... Static is "in" as per last post. |

I'm pretty much just waiting for... Viper or Skip, if they have anything to add, at this point. I shan't ignore your post, Pal.

Obviously, I leave the real planning up to you folks - I'm not making it THAT easy on you. If you want to know something, ask me - and if you might know it, I'll clue you in.

Okay - you guys know your skills. How are you getting into Conqueror to do your business?

I was gonna roll about 200 d6's and declare a success?
Do we know a damn thing about this place, or are we starting with intel gathering? |

Andre can turn invisible and astral project. He can also knock people unconscious from a long way away. Of course any security system worth anything would take all those abilities into account. I think the first thing we should figure out is the actual location of this place we're supposed to be breaking into.

Skip is pretty well designed to do infiltration work as well. I just don't know what we know about where we're going to find out things to know....
Skip is specialized in manipulation and detection spells, and counterspelling detection spells. He will gladly run overwatch for magical security and negate what he can. He's also a fan of watcher spirits. And anyone that surveils him in the Astral will quickly note that he's harder to see there (Astral Chameleon). |

You know where it is. It's in the phonebook. Other than Murk, Tycho knows a pair of technological wunderkinder (Trick and Treat, for those who remember them), who can probably handle most of the Tech stuff between them (though there'll probably be something that they missed, that you'll have to handle.) - that is, if you go purely through subterfuge and B&E.

Static is highly specialized in reading and controlling minds or blasting people. So here is what I suggest the astral capable scan the building while murk and the tech kids recon via the matrix. After that knowledge we will be able to know how to proceed physically

Sorry all - I found myself suddenly way short on time right now - first work, now the holiday weekend. I expect to have time tomorrow night for an actual post.

I've been through a lot lately, but I'm still game as RL permits. Busy with graduate studies, job hunting (had an interview last week) and just got back from Dragon*Con. I'll be trying to catch up this week and get a post or two in hopefully by the weekend.

Same here, RL kicking my anus. I am in the middle of a move to Tampa and house hunting is not going as well as I had hoped. I am good to follow whatever plan we decide on. I personally like the astral poking around while the hackers do their bit. Then we move in based on the intel that produces.

I owe you all an apology - I've been incredibly busy with this whole 'being an adult' shenanigans... It's overrated, let me tell any of you whom aren't that, yet.
I'll do my best in the near future to get this business with Conqueror up and running.

Sorry all - work kicked my ass, stole all my motivation, and then took out my laptop's GPU (the last may not be connected, it's hard to tell) so I took an enforced break. I'm back, and ready to go tho!

Yeah... I'm not nearly clear enough with the rules to make an office security system that isn't either ridiculously easy for pre-genned characters, or impossible for them to achieve.
Thus, I trade this game to Ergonomic Cat, who's much more familiar with the batch of rules than I am.

Um... so what exactly happened? Do we still have a GM or... what...

It seems we don't. Ergo's been too busy to keep it up, and I'm just not familiar enough with the entire batch of Shadowrun's rules to run the game.
Sorry, everyone! (For what it's worth, Andre's date was going to be interrupted by those racist gangsters again)
