Duel Arcana: Round 3 Match 2

Our next two duelists are both a little disturbing, for different reasons, but are great to watch. On one side of the ring we have Loopy and on the other is Rasca.

Loopy’s illusions have proven to be extremely effective and quite dangerous. On the other hand Rasca’s creations are very real and the threat they pose is considerable.

Loopy and Rasca! Prepare to duel!

Please send me a private message with your prepared spells, spells cast prior to the duel, what you will have in hand, what spell(s) you will cast on the first round, and what action you will take on the 2nd round (either prepare to counterspell or total defense).

Rasca comes into the ring, muttering to Audhild like usual. He is also holding his signature loaded crossbow. He then prepares to fight this man that doesn't use real things.

Casting his first spell, Loopy insultates himself from the magic missles that his opponent had used to win in the last match and readies to get things started.

Though no one sees it, Rasca produce a peice of squid. After a few quick words, he tosses it down. Instantly, an area of tentacles spring forth and try to crush Loopy.

We may not be able to see Rasca, but we can see his spell! Black tentacles have sprouted and quickly wrapped up Loopy!

Rasca must have seen how effective the spell was in Casandrella’s match yesterday, especially against smaller opponents.

Rasca summons a dire boar, right in the middle of his own tentacles. He hopes to all the Far Realm that the boar doesn't get grappled, but isn't about to dismiss the tentacles.

OOC: I appoligize for the targeting of the summon. Move to D5, and cast a targeted dispel magic at the lesser globe of invulnurability. If I can not target it from there, move to the edge of the fog in a position where I can.

His mastery of fate having just saved some of his protections, Loopy still doesn't like the situation he's in. There is little that he can do about it though, other than hoping that his protections will prove strong enough to outlast these blasted tentacles.

"Time to bring in some more friends," Rasca says while disappearing back into the fog. Just before, a lot of gibberish comes from his direction. The boar takes on a horrifiing form, and attacks Loopy. The sounds of Rasca's incantation can be heard from within the fog.

OOC: Instruct PNB to attack. Five foot step to C5. Begin Casting Summon Monster IV for D3 Huge Psuedonatural Centipedes. In order of preference J:L 8:10, J:L 3:5, and C:E 6:8.

Loopy is finally making some attempt to escape from the tentacles, but he is not making any progress.

Loopy’s defenses must be getting low by now. Wait a minute, I believe Rasca’s summons are showing up.

"Hit him, my good friends. Hard." Rasca calls to his creatures from inside the fog, though it comes out as gibberish to most. After the creatures hit, Rasca begins a chant. When it is finished, a now fimilar hail hits the field.

OOC: Instruct all creature to attack. If Loopy is still standing after all attacks are complete, cast ice storm, targeted on SW P7. If this is too far off the field of battle, centered on SW O7.
