Well, I think you found the animal companion with the best AC of all.

Not with enough granularity--the next level will kick your asses. But I think it's mostly survivable, so if we're going to do the full group I'm running it anyways. You'll get pretty awesome treasure at least.

I'm ready to make a replacement character. I've made three characters now for BRR's PF game...

What exactly do you mean with 'the next level'? The scenario for level two characters?

“ Edit: Also fine with sitting out this one. I'm not that attached to this surgeon guy and something about him is kind of irritating. ”
Your characters are almost always strange, z. I like the surgeon though and would like to have him along.

Character is up, btw. Minor adjustments to come maybe, but maybe not.

Yeah, yeah, no one likes my images...

The only thing I wondered about was Cleave. As a feat in PF, it seems to have been nerfed beyond true usefulness. I ended up going with Furious Focus for the fighter I built for BRR's game. EDIT - Nevermind. I reread both Cleaves again. It's not "nerfed." It is changed, and probably more useful than it was, in general, but it requires you to give up full attacks to use it. Not that that's an issue right now.

Actually your image is nice as well! But I didn't have the pdf at hand and didn't even think about doing it 'your way'.

Wow, furious focus is really nice. But cleave lets me make two attacks in one round, maybe. His AC is even worse then so it's not an option every round. But two attacks in one round for a barbarian? Without two-weapon fighting? Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Even later when full attacks are available, you can still make two attacks after moving (when full attacks are of no use).

I was just served with an involuntary work transfer to a location half an hour from home (rather than a 2 minute walk), with 20+ hours of overtime weekly, and no internet access at work. I'm having to pull out of this game, I apologize.

That really does suck. But, best wishes, man.

“ Originally Posted by Tashalar # What exactly do you mean with 'the next level'? The scenario for level two characters? ”
Tier 3-4. Naturally, it's about twice as hard as Tier 1-2. It's doable, since the group is looking to be almost twice the expected size--I doubt there will be a TPK. Just be aware that it's a lot more risk for each PC, individually.

On review of the module, I think this one will be too easy at Tier 1-2 even if two of you sit out. So, we're going ahead. Lune, Marcus316, post your characters and I'll get started as soon as I've got the first post written up.

One extra thing: those of you who don't already have one should consider finding a portrait for your character. I'll be using them to make map tokens. If you don't have a picture, I'll just use whatever I have on hand, and you might not like it.

If that's the case, I'm going to Japan to tie him down and force him to watch it.
