For some reason it got closed. I must have hit a wrong button. It's open now.

I can't remember what I did, really. I think I used the Move Posts function and made a new thread.

Good, because the only other explanation I could think of as to how this thread got locked was that Orp has become alive.

You know I take weekends off, mostly. If I don't, I'll get burnt out.

I believe I've caught everyone up now...still no word from BLC in her games or this one, or from Merbak, or the guy who was interested in playing.

Actually, three groups of two will work just fine for now. We will see how things morph. I am trying to set up logical reasons for the misfits to run into either the Ventrue or each other.

Stupid question, but is there a guy called Bud, or do you mean the beer?

Stumped for a specific question, Christiaan tries to gain more thinking time by asking: “Okay, so far this isn’t all that new. What has your investigation turned up so far beyond these starting details?”
This kind of thing is really hard on a GM, and is tatamount to asking for the GM to do the player's work for her...so I ain't gonna.

I'll just wait until you or Benicus comes up with something else.

Yeah, I get that, although I think it would be a normal question in real life, seeing what is offered up when you just let people talk… But of course, this isn’t real life. And you’re pretty free with giving tips on how to play this in other areas, so I didn’t really think it through.

Anyway it’s too late now, I’m of to bed. I’ll change it tomorrow into a more leading question. Unless Benicus beats me to it, whichever.

Yes...for those overseas players, anyother American idiot-syncracy is the time change twice a year...it was originally to try to give the summer months more evening time for the workers and farmers to finish or relax. Now it's just inertia and screws everyone up twice a year.

Wait, Europe doesn't have daylight savings?

I believe that was an invention of Benjamin Franklin, peculiar to the americas, devised to evade a candle tax actually. Hence 'daylight savings'. But that may simply be a popular myth, I've never bothered to research it.

Here's more than you ever wanted to know about it. http://www.webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/

Apparently Europe has "summer time" similar to our daylight saving time.

My apologies for the brevity. I have more rumbling around upstairs but I've had a long day and am rather tired. I'm certain it will come out better tomorrow after I've rested.

Yeah, Summer Time equals Daylight savings (probably called differently so bot area's can claim to have invented it). And FYI, we drive on the right side (as opposed to the left, not the wrong). So unless you're an Australian....

It's just the Brits that drive on the left side, the rest of Europe never did, or changed ages ago, I think Sweden was the last, somewhere in the 70's.
