My numbers for who is dead take into account zacol and link's posts because Aleph is a time traveller. In reality they could claim the two deaths of the adders, but that is not how I roll.

If I thought that I would be able to actually confirm a crit, I'd have used an Action Point this round to boost one of the attacks into a crit threat.

Just a quick acknowledgment - the attack bonuses for both Adders and Cobras are too high, probably by 2-3 points. I am not going to modify them because you guys are doing fine and I hate retconning, but I wanted to put it out there so you don't think mooks with high attack bonuses are the norm.

I'm trying to decide on a good way to logically organize the game's IC posts over the long term. It isn't a problem right now since we are in the first scene, but 'episodes' doesn't really make sense as it will be a continuous story. Calling groups of scenes 'acts' doesn't work either because it implies a certain story structure that might not be present (or consistent). For now I'm going with Books split up into Scenes.

DR is per attack by default. If you guys would rather roll per hit we can do that. I don't know which would be better. One is less rolling, one adds more randomness.

I think I'm confused - per hit and per attack sort of look the same to me.

I wasn't sure if it was per hit or per round.

Okay. Like I said, my question was out of ignorance not suggestion. I mean, I've read IH through several times (and played in Inceptum), but for whatever reason its rules differences don't stick in my head.

I'd prefer per attack, doing it per round adds too much variance and puts it too much on one roll. Doing it per attack makes it trend towards the average, per round would mean an unlucky roll makes DR super strong and a lucky one makes it nearly irrelevant.

Adder 4 is still alive (on 7 rather than the -1 I carefully account for). I'm not sure why. I presume somebody didn't edit DR into the IC and that meant I spent the wrong number of tokens and didn't kill him.

He had 24 HP, zachol hit for 8, I hit him for 13 and added 4 from tokens. A total of 25

Edit: Actually the adders don't have DR. I think maybe you missed zachol's attack?
