Yeah, it's got to be a mind numbing job, running a plow. And I'm really not sure what they could do differently about driveways. But it's annoying as hell.

Did I tell you guys that I've been running a pbp game on Obsidianportal.com? It's set in 1926 Chicago, and takes the basic tenets of Shadowrun and inserts them into Prohibition. Pretty Fun. Just in case you're the sort who likes to read the content of other people's gaming sessions, here's a few links, in chronological order.

This looks pretty cool MDM - thanks for the update!

That's actually really cool, if a bit overwhelming. I like the game concept.

Also, nice Jimi there. Does anyone else get the feeling we're stuck in the mud here? Can you throw us some cardboard or a carpet or something, Chris? I'm a little confused as to why I've been talking to this Eeyore of a fish for so long. Once upon a time it seemed like I had a reason and now I'm not entirely sure if it's rude for me to come up or not, but it was something to do, so if it steps on Omnifrost's toes, LB, I apologize but I simply can't NOT DO ANYTHING or chitchat anymore.

Agreed. I feel like we've been at this point of the story for about a year. We lost momentum along the way due to Real Life (tm) and are trying to get it rolling again. I would definitely love some help getting things moving (although that might be the whole imagery of the door that we've got to go solve).

Will do folks. I think MDM has got it right though. Now that the group is combined again, you can move away from the keep and onto better things.

MDM, you are the worst teammate, ever. Of all time. :-P

In other news, it's really, really warm inside a cow. There is pretty much nothing that will make you enjoy being shoulder deep more than single-digit temperatures. In other other news, dead goats smell so bad they defy my ability to elocute. I've used the "I thought they smelled bad...on the outside" joke so many times during necropsies that it's not even humorous anymore.

But at least you are enjoying being shoulder deep inside a cow. It's important to love what you do.

The biggest issue I have with palpating cows (aside from the fact that I suck at detecting pregnancies) is that my arms get tired in a hurry. One of the vets that worked at that farm has a serious case of Popeye arms going on - I've probably got fifty pounds on her and I'd be willing to bet real money that she'd kick my ass in an arm-wrestling contest. Of course, anyone willing to do a solo C-section on a cow when they're nine months pregnant is pretty hard core.

Oh geez. I remember that there's something about these merchants I should remember. I also remember that there was a girl who caught Malak's eye. Sister to the head guy or something? How long were we with them, just overnight? Cuz then we cactus-ported over near the city, I believe....

Details, details, worry not over details.

But yeah, I think it was a couple days or so.

Dale, it's probably worth mentioning that Malak has gone off the rails here. Our party never found verdant hills on Athas, and insofar as you guys know, he's never been married. So basically he was just telling the story of our journey together, then took a wrong turn at Albequerque.

I really liked this rendition of the tale. Thanks Maddog!

Naw she caught it, but doesn't want to call Malak's character is question, and figures it might be good for him to sort through things.

See, now all the multi-monitor alarms I've heard are silent until things go south, at which point they sound more like "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP, BEEP-BEEP."

...Or maybe those are the IV pump alarms. Hmm.
