Paul move by on spider demon: 2 OCV, -2 DCV +4d6 damage from velocity: 7 OCV +2 (Combat Skill Levels) -2 (maneuver) = 7+11=18 base - 10 DCV (base 7 + 3 Combat skill levels) = 8<
Spider demon - Half move and attack - 7 OCV +11 = 18 base - 3 DCV (hex) = 15<
Starfire - Brace & attack (brace is a maneuver that is like aiming - it gives you a bonus versus range penalties but because you're standing still, your DCV is lowered) Starfire's Base Offensive combat value = 4 - 3 (range penalties) +2 (bonus from bracing) + 11 (base roll) = 14 - 3 (the Defensive combat value of the web ie. how hard the web is to hit) GM Fiat: since the web is area effect hex i'm ruling that's its base DCV is 3 (because its "big"), versus (what it typically is) the dcv of the spider (7).
- So starfire's total roll is 14-3 = 11 or less on 3d6 (and she got an 11 - Woot!)


Segment 8 Actions
Paul - move by on spider demon : -2 OCV, -2 DCV +4d6 damage from velocity: 7 OCV +2 (Combat Skill Levels) -2 (maneuver) = 7+11=18 base - 7 DCV = 11<
- GM Fiat: I'm ruling that the sharpened doorknob will allow Paul to convert his normal damage into killing damage 5.5dcs => 2d6 killing

Segment 6 Actions
Spider demon - takes a recovery but is no longer flashed
Colin - Sweep - Kick (+0 OCV, +1 DCV) & Sweep (+2 OCV,-1DCV) Combined: (+0 OCV, -1 DCV) + -2 Sweep penalty = -2 OCV, -1 DCV.
-OCV: 6 (base) -2 (maneuver) + 3 (Skill levels) = 7 + 11 = 18 - 5 (demon's DCV)= 13<
-Due to sweeping Colins DCV for next round is (6-1)/2 = 3
Jack - Move by -2 OCV -2 DCV: 6 OCV + -2 Move by + 11 Base = 15 - 3 (Demon's prone DCV) = 12< Hit! 7 Body 35 Stun
Nick - 1/2 phase transform to rubber - Grab by -3OCV -4 DCV: 6 OCV -3 (maneuver) +11 Base = 14 - 3 (Demon's prone DCV) = 11< Miss

Map!

Demon is still in pain but seems to be trying to holds its many limbs "defensively" ie. its obviously trying to cover up and seems to be waiting for the real hurting to begin.

Segment 12

I don't know if there's a combat maneuver name for what I want to do. Hardball will attempt to rush the remaining spider demon, grab him, and fall backwards, planting the spider demon basically upside-down and on top of him (leaving plenty of room for everyone else to hit him while I hold him).

GM: Its called a half move and grab, with a side of squeeze damage (the special effect for which is you throwning it to the floor)

Segment 12

If possible Colin will draw his sticks and do a sweep maneuver on Armane. If he can't do a sweep than he'll just whack him once this phase. All combat levels in OCV.

GM: Dave and the demon are grappling - Nick is entwined about the demon and the two of them are thrashing about. It may be difficult to strike the just the demon without hitting Nick.
