(I'm going to take a few liberties with your characters. If you have an issue with it, let me know).

Backstory/Personality:

Theresa is a Business Major - possibly a double major in Business and Pre-law (not because she's planning to be a lawyer, but because she thought being pre-law would give her an edge in interviews), depending on whether she wants to spend the time to get both degrees, or whether she wants to graduate in her third year.

Her father was a physics professor, and the sponsor of the university gamers club, so she grew out around geeky pursuits - she wasn't in to them as such, but she was comfortable with them, and most of the kids she knew growing up were gamers or geeks of one sort or another. She was a very smart girl, so she got along well enough with the geeks. She also learned from them how to compete, and how to win, and that lesson stuck with her throughout her life.

Once she got to college, she figured out that there were a number of guys that were willing to "help tutor" her in various subjects, which could quickly turn to "take care of her homework" if she wanted it to. It was in Chemistry 102 that she met Dayle. It was a very easy semester for her, so she had plenty of time to socialize and build her resume. About a week before the end of the semester she decided that it was time to date a prominent personality, and so, two weeks later, Dayle was left behind looking confused as she went off with Walter Slovotsky, who was the captain of the football team. After a month of dating him, she found, to her annoyance, that he was also a gamer.

Still, he was popular, and she got to meet a lot of the right people, so she stuck with him (even though he had a tendency to chase every skirt in town, even if they were on a scotsman).

When Walter told her that "girls wouldn't get" roleplaying, she had to prove him wrong. It came as a bit of a shock to her as, on her way to the first game, he sent her a text to let her know they weren't dating any more.... She mentioned it to Dayle without thinking, and regretted it immediately. Although now that things have progessed to where they are, it might not be such a horrible thing....
