LP's got cold feet and is hiding outside, which means the onus is on you two now. Are you going to carry on regardless, or nip out and grab him?

Balar's feet are most assuredly hot! What's happened to him?

If somebody disappears without so much as a word in a bad part of town most anyone would assume the worst. I posted my action yesterday, but to speed things up, I'll add an edit to the effect that Malachi hauls Darriel's flea-bitten ass along for the ride. Nobody's hiding outside as far as he's concerned.

His concerns are clearly not quite the same as Darriel's.

Looks like Darriel and Malachi are fighting sooner than I expected. Shall we pre-determine the result? The best outcomes I see:
  1. Darriel lets Malachi drag him inside and then mopes passive-aggressively.
  2. Darriel shakes Malachi off and continues to wait outside, maybe with some passionate yelling on both sides.
  3. Darriel shakes Malachi off and is yelled at until he comes inside... to mope passive-aggressively.
I suppose we could also roll grapple checks and fight like gamers, but that seems strangely unsporting, being liable to derail the game. I'm happy to let you pick the result of your choice. Got to play antisocial characters sociably, after all.

Merry Christmas!

I realize the Druid has his own mind, and then some. Malachi has the best of intentions, but I guess that's like trying to do something nice for a badger! ! Let's definitely not roll dice over this. I'd just like to move along--together preferably. Pick your own result. It's your character after-all.

I'd say it's more like trying to force someone to do something they think is bad for them because you think it's good for them.

Either way, I'd like to keep our herd of cats moving forward. If Darriel doesn't want to come along, that's fine. Malachi isn't going to brawl over it. The remaining two cats will just enter the bar and get on with it. I'm just waiting for a post from someone at this point.

Hmm. I think Darriel plays along, but uses his scroll of shillelagh first. I'm forseeing (and sorta hoping for) a barfight in the future.

Normally I'd agree, but I think we're out-manned and out-gunned in this place. Plus, this is my first rogue character and I'm feeling quite frail.

How big is the tavern floor?

Was there some sort of secret consensus that I'm going to be kicked out of the game but not told about it?

The focus on Balar just petered out after a while.

That reminds me about someone. Is TFF still going to be introduced, TA?

I'm watching/waiting for my turn to post in-game again.

Shoelip: There's been no secret vote! We couldn't get a quorum.

The violence of Darriel's action is proportional to the alcohol in the blood of the barflies around him. Hence, it's most dramatic when they're wicked pissed.

Well they can't blame this one on Balar.

I have the biggest grin on my face right now. LeadPal that was fucking hilarious. I'm actually dying to see Lionel's reaction. Then, we'll see if anyone else in this place gives a shit.

It reminds me of a time I was shopping in Walmart with my daughter and I was talking loud and she told me to be quiet. I explained that no one in the store cares what I'm saying, then I proceeded to yell a few random things at the ceiling. No one even looked at me. I said to my daughter, "See." She burst into tears and hid behind her mother. The whole ride home she chewed me out for embarassing her. Sorry for the random story, but your post brought back fond memories.

OMG MY LIFE IS OVER! I CAN NEVER SHOW MY FACE AT WAL-MART AGAIN!

Just be glad they didn't steal her. You know, Wal-Mart will steal your children if you aren't careful. I saw it in a play so it must be true!
