Please state what you're going to do, by the way, so we can get on with it.

We did say we'd discuss this OOC didn't we?

Sorry about that Shoelip. I need to learn to read better.

I'm going to wait to see what T.A. posts before I state my actions. If it turns out that Balar leaves, then Malachi will have some things he wants to do.

You know when you press backspace to delete an error, then discover that your mouse isn't inside the reply box, and you've navigated back a page and lost everything you just typed?

Grr.

Retail does suck. Work in general sucks. Losing a post sucks.

Guys! You're gonna make this thread suck!

So I must say that the new post does not suck. Should make Darriel sweat pretty good.

Nope, it doesn't. Won't save in the screen. S'why I continually copy posts, so that I can paste it back in case something happens. Or type big descriptions offline.

Ah, the many joys of spineless, ignoble heroes. Darriel is such a prick. I hope to develop this trait in the future.

Lol, I just read your post and started laughing while muttering to myself, "He's such an asshole!". I'm relieved to see that you meant it that way.

What web browser do you use?

Since Lionel and Malachi are natives (and both in a position to know this sort of stuff), I'll stick it in the OOC thread instead of PMing it to them.

The Council of Mages provide sanctioned telepaths to liase with the Watch, allowing them communicate between watch stations, patrols and headquarters. Gargoyle messengers and other magical tomfoolery can be used as well of course.

Most likely, a local resident heard the shouting or saw the bodies and alerted a passing patrol, who dispatched a message to their station house and then on to HQ by magical means.
The fact that Utorian not only knows about Morrisey, but also makes the connection between him and the group, might indicate that she is well in Kargen's confidence.

Or not.

Depends how paranoid you want to be...

Well there's your problem right there. Internet Explorer, like most Microsoft products, is a steaming pile of human excrement. Use Firefox... or Safari, or... or that new Google one... The point is, don't use IE, it's terrible. Also, don't use Microsoft Outlook for your email unless you are trying to get viruses.

On that note, Malachi would like to hire bodyguards. He intends to mention it to Kargan to make sure the Commander has no problem with it. Would Malachi know where to hire people like that...the potential costs, etc.?

Yes.

But read up on your Machiavelli before you reach into your pockets...

Edit: Sorry Shoelip, I haven't forgotten you. I just want to see where the lads take things from here.

She's rather rude...

Should Balar be doing something else? I'm not really sure what to do, Balar just wants to go to the healer and have whatever is wrong with Jinxie fixed. Also, I guess I didn't make it clear earlier but Balar Borrowed a hooded cloak from Morrisey's house and had Jinxie where it so people wouldn't stare at her.

EDIT: Oh.

Of course, nobody would stare at two people walking through a crowd in hooded cloaks...

Next post will deal with your little expedition (probably). I was going to stick it in this one actually, but Malachi demanding to see the organ grinder and not the monkey has sent things in an unforseen direction and I wanted to wait and see what happened with that before making a larger post.

One person in a hooded cloak. Balar isn't wearing one. Oh well, at least she isn't obviously a gaze addict, and that's what he's trying to conceal, besides her identity.

Hm, anything he could do wouldn't have any affect on Balar for at least a few minutes though... would it?

I'm getting steadily drunker as the night wears on, so you'll need to explain that for me.

Malachi and Balar are in different places, thus anything Malachi does is not likely to affect Balar instantaneously.

Oh, I see.

I mean, I wanted to resolve the issue in the watch house before I skipped over to you and the healer. Since the party has split up, i wanted to deal with the action and info in logical chunks, rather than just responding to the players as and when they post stuff, so that later on the action makes more sense.

LMAO! I'm a rougue, what do you want? I don't go around blabbing my client's business to anyone who'll listen! If that prude Utorian backed-off then I'd definitely know not to ever tell her jack-shit!
