It's going to be a hot one tonight.

That's right, both Rakesh and Brunhilda made use of fire in their last matches, getting them through their first loser's bracket match and on the road to redemption.

Fire, heh heh, fire, fire.

That's a reference I'd expect from you. Rakesh, Brunhilda introduce yourselves to the crowd.

Rakesh makes a quick incantation and the familiar sight of multiple Rakesh's leaps into being.

"Hail, Brunhilda, don't run my dear!
Why do you not come over here?
I know you frighten all the men.
You burned Coravel like a halogen.
But to me you flames hold no fear!"

He then lopes across the arena floor toward Brunhilda.

I'm afraid all you'll a spike poke."

Brunhilda groans as her rock is torn from her hand. She knows that getting airborn with her rock was critical in this bout, and that will be quite difficult now. Throwing her initial strategy aside, Brunhilda desparately reaches out and tries to grab hold of her half-dragon opponent.

ooc:
follow up with 2 attacks as part of a full attack action, both attempts to grapple, eyes closed during attacks.

edit: if first grapple is successful, second will be to pin.
second edit (a bit late, but BP hasn't updated, so I'll throw it in. Disregard if you feel it isn't right, BP): Rage before these 2 attacks.

Brunhilda cries out as she is struck by an onslaught of chain strikes from what seems like all directions. Dejectedly she allows the flames surrounding her to wink out and hangs her head as she acknowledges Rakesh's victory.

Rakesh:
Crowd Attitude: 16.75 (Liked, +2 attacks & damage)
Spells: 3/3/8
HP: 162 (after rage expires)

Brunhilda:
Crowd Attitude: 1.5
Spells: 5/3
PP: 2
Non-lethal damage: 261
HP: 178 (after rage expires)

Well, that was over quickly.

Brunhilda made an easy target lying there on the ground like that. You can hardly blame Rakesh for wailing on her.

Yeah, but he could have played with her a bit longer.

Why give her the opportunity to stage a come back? At this point one mistake could mean the end of the tournament for Rakesh. I say he's better off having ended the match quickly when he could.

Voting will close Friday, 30 November, 2007. Rakesh should PM me his recovery plans by that date too.
