Do I get a reward?

Do you get a special reward for being an extremely mean, but 100% IC DM?

I have had the lich try to convince the party a new member is one of his minions, mind you they didn't like him much to start with and found him talking with teh lich. The lich has an int of 52, and is level 40 and just shy of being a demilich:-)

And I managed to turn the party all into undead and have the lich use a nice nasty spell, that is based of Ventriloquizim(sp) but actualy can effect where the spell emmanated from, and had a quickened, silent, stilled, heightend raise dead cast at the parties cleric... can we can zombie dust:-)

Im sorry, but once I read Lich, Int 53, Level 40 and Demilich in the same sentence I lost interest. :) Just call me weird but I really dont see the fun in playing such powerful characters, infact I find playing anything above 10 boring at best.

my feelings are more mixed about higher-level stuff :)

Looking at the game it is obscene in some places :)

Plus i'm not enough of a munchkin to make a decent character of that level
plus alot of the PrCs seem to become useless when you reach epic

Its not what I consider balanced, and honestly I like lower level stuff too, alot easier, but for one game its alot of fun.

My personal preference is to be about level 4. By that point each class is emerging with its own style, and you are powerful enough to have a good backstory, with out being so far from regular people.
