After the whole entering Techtide and getting knowed out and so on, I later make an opointment to do interview with J.M. Willams. At the meeting he seemed a nice round guy but dont feel right, after when leaving he ask his securtary to check me out to see if im a part of the Tong. Then that night dog tags made a vist with me at my hotel room. After knocking me out he caged me at a random location later to be a school. When I escape i run away and ran across to the beach and ran up on a crowd passing out. Meet up with Mary Ann the libarian, she helps me look up on some connections. We go to the oringal place the big fire started, and found some things that i could see. Then we ate lucnh the next day and then she droped me off. I wentt to Techtide oncew more to make another opointment with J.M. Willams. But after i went on my way to go back to the school i was kidnapped from, but a crack addict tried to do high jack but shoot him self hitting me and then well trying to stop the slowly moving bus we get broad sided by SUV. and passed out while trying ad the bus driver.

Quest thus far:
>Came to 1st visions location
>Vision on a fire from 1906, trailed to J.M. Williams
>Anscestors told me of starting at the roots, found them
>Found roots that told me about J.M. Williams's ancestor and what started the fire
>Chinese girl seeming to cntrol the flame that J.M. is trying to put out, she is saying in chinesse "My your ancestors die in flame" mubling it to herself.

Chars that are inmportant:
>Dog Tags

After waking I went to my appointment with JM Willams. Ask him what his connections with the ting might be, and he referenced the tong to being like a African Monkey trap, they have it out there and the people take it but he is there to move it. After i went exploring i came across a cops chase i throw rock at window cops talks i fight i hear someone talk to the cop and then i passed out and wake up in a jail.

Vash The Stampide

When I awoke in the jail I meant some short asian looking person, I mean short. He seemed to be the person that I heard as I was attacking the cop.
I was later pulled out of the jail and told that the cop was restaining me because i "was a danger to myself". But also found out I had a restrianing order taken out on me by JM Willams. I was set free after getting the court order and need to go fix my jewerly that the cops ruined:(. But it was a haspanic man elderly, that help fix it for free. But he wonder about my totem on my necklace. So he called Rose which is like his necie or something. She took me to her moms house and eat breakfest with them. After the feast the mom, Maria, asked me about the totem, after telling her she calls Mary Ann and we all end up going to lunch.

I let them know "alot" and the older man has the same visons i have but a little diferent. We returned to the scene of the crime and find a large large piece of the puzzle.

Quest cont.
>Found out that the tong are in JM's way and moves them out
>Found another who sees my visions
>Found out that the chinesse girl could be JM's ancestors daughter
>That the chinesse girl is an ancestor of mine
> JM and I maybe related
>Found that the chinesse girls words were meant for someone else
unknown to me

New chars
>Rose- Maria's daughter
>Maria- teacher at SFSU
>Werid asian short aka unknown to me "Ben/Zak"

Papi, Maria, Mary-Ann, and you get taken back to Mary-Ann's by Rose, and the two of you are dropped off. Maria informs you that she'll be in touch if need be, and the two old friends (Maria and Mary-Ann), continue a conversation in Spanish. Both laugh, and the family heads out. It's been a pretty long day, and Mary-Ann will be glad to take you back, but as it is, she's pretty tired (as are you, for that matter!).

Before you get back to your motel room, is there anything you need to do at this location? If not, you'll be greeted at your door by a note - a telephone message from the front desk.

Ill go back to my room and if the person at the front has a messege and gathers my attenction,
"Yes, What is it. You have something for me?"
Then Ill aproach the front counter waiting on what he has to say or she.

Chris Chandler
19th of June, 2007, 22:04
The man behind the desk looks through a folder and hands you a piece of motel letterhead - the message is scrawled in horrendous handwriting, but you can make it out.

Please call JMW at your earliest convenience.

" Thank you sir." Ill take the note and read it. When I get to my room Ill look at the time nd if its past 10 o'clock Im not going to call but if its before Ill try and call him.

It's before, and you do so -

You call the number he gave you, and he answers immediately -

Ah, Mr. Okomi, excellent. There's a little something that I may need to explain to you about our peculiar legal arrangement starting today. I had some... Public Relations backlash because of your antics in the last week. I'm not telling you, "stay away". Rather, I'm keenly interested in you, and your journey. We need to be more... discrete, though. Do you understand?

" Ah yes I understand what u mean. Would u care to meet up somewhere 'discrete' because I have some more Id like to discuss. I would discuss them now, but Im tired at the moment and would like to rest." While Im talking to him Im going to set up the floor for me to sleep on and Im going to meditate before going to bed. Mr. Williamson agrees and tells you that he'll send a messenger in the morning.

As you meditate you are overcome with a sense of peace and focus. The events of today, with Papi and his family, really put you at rest, and can sense that your ancestors, likewise, are assuaged, at least right now.

You wake up completely refreshed and ready to take on the world. You'll have time for a little breakfast before the messenger arrives. Anything else you want to do beforehand?

((any HP that you might have lost have returned))

Perfect!

Good morning sir. How can I... help you?

The messenger is another beauty, dressed as one of his security personnel. She's tall with long raven hair, olive-skinned with deep green eyes, and a trim, athletic figure. You know what to do.

We'll have to see what happens here before we continue.

Nice -

She smiles and rolls her eyes a little then pulls out a small card.

Mr. Williamson requests that you meet with him this evening over dinner to discuss your evolving partership. He's reserved a table at Butterfly this evening at 8:00. I can -

She snorts and stops reading the card, and looks back up at you -

I'll be by about 7:30 to pick you up. Do you have a... suit? It's a shirt and tie kind of place. Mr. Williamson is a little preoccupied to notice details like that.

She pulls a PDA off her hip, goes through a few screens and smiles.

Well, come on, we don't have all day. I've got somewhere to be at 2:00. I'll take you to Brooks Brothers. They'll have something for you.

"Ok, lets get moving then, Im interested in this never wore a suit."

The messenger (she does not introduce herself, so you don't have a name for her) takes you to her matte black Hummer, and heads downtown. You park on a crowded street lined with many shops - most look rather high dollar. She walks you over to a conservative storefront with mannequins wearing tailored suits.

Alright - so what's your style? Conservative, or very conservative?

She opens the door for you and immediately hunts for an associate - an older man in a white shirt and floral tie, his steel gray hair slicked back with Brill Cream. She speaks with him for just a moment, allegedly so you can't hear her -

I've got an investor from out of the country here and we need the whole spit and polish. I'll expense it out on the American Express, okay?

Yes Ma'am.

He heads over to you, armed with a tape measure and a smile.

So - what would Okomi like in a suit?

Vash The Stampide
27th of June, 2007, 05:53
Okomi-
Looking around the store,
"Ah, Ive never worn a suit. So lets ask the beautiful lady there what she thinks."
Looking at the messenger jestering the the open hand, slight bow.

Chris Chandler
29th of June, 2007, 22:33
The beautiful lady rolls her eyes, and walk you and the tailor through the store, pointing at fabrics, and asking a few questions about cut. It really doesn't take long, and the old man is on you with his measuring tape. He marks down all his measurements down in a little notepad.

The woman smiles as he finishes -

Now, Henry. I know that under normal circumstances, I could expect this suit later in the week. I need it this afternoon. Make it happen, please. Your commission will reflect your timeliness.

Oh, yes'm. Consuela and Xochitl are both here this morning. Come back by five.

So - you've got the middle of the day to play.

Where to now, Mr. Okomi? We have some time before my appointment.

Vash The Stampide
7th of July, 2007, 16:56
Afterward I stuck around and watched the other man wearing the suits trying to get a feel for them. When the suit was finished I meet with JM and gave him an update on the visions but also he told me that he was trying to make are vists out of public and more private. He then stated that he would give me a notebook after asking me if I was formilar with comps.

I also recieved the info on the illemate child of his ancestor-being chinaese girl. And got the loction of her grave. I went there and got the feeling of another and he forced me of the graveyard, after returning he had manifested into something foul.

Vash The Stampide
7th of July, 2007, 17:00
As I stare at this manifestation I get a replay of the visoin in the cellar from before- I want to say the same phraase that the girl said before

"In chinesse-'My your ansectors die in flame.'"
saying this and pointing the same way as she did.

Vash The Stampide
21st of July, 2007, 16:52
After fighting and defeating the foul manifested ghoul, the spirit thanked me and told me the answer lies with her father,- returning to Mary Ann she helps me out and to the point we are now heading to London, but always there is my trouble- in iceland i get lost :D

Vash The Stampide
10th of August, 2007, 01:04
In Iceland i went to Valhalla, fought a few things and meet up with Baller or something of that nature, meet a nice girl and went to london. In london we reach up on where J.M Williams my have burned and died, first place we vist isnt it but run into some trouble. Guys with guns, not more has to be said right, well we fight them and they run we run and now we are stuck at a park with me nude again.

Vash The Stampide
16th of October, 2007, 07:12
We then went to get me new clothing, and retreated to the apartment. Next day we went to the loction JM burned and had a vision, saw teh whole thing going down, yet this time it felt more real than al the others. And a man could see me in the vision and he threw me out of it. After this we returned to San Fransico. I told JM of current day where and how his great grandfather died, then asked if he wanted to meet and he told me he couldnt for he is going out of town till Wensday. Thus I crashed at Mary Anns, gave her a back massage. Then a bomb goes off in the town, so we go check it out. Later teat day the media vists and talks to Mary Ann about many things more than just the bombing.

Walking of course, I know the way well enough. Done it few times now.....

Chris Chandler
11th of January, 2008, 11:05
Okay, well, first things first - you aren't harassed by reporters, they don't recognize you. You aren't accosted by bums, they are all asleep. No security detail with web gear and semiautomatics drag you into a van, their shift hasn't started yet.

You are being trailed.

Care to know by whom, or what, I should say? There are about 8 of them, as far as you can tell. It's hard to say, really - they are all over the place, going under cars, jumping in trash cans, dashing down side streets. The people they approach have a mixture of fear and disgust and quickly avoid them, and they don't seem to be bothered by those people's reaction toward them. They all seem to be coming back to you.

Vash The Stampide
12th of January, 2008, 09:58
Vash-

Well Ill keep going but try and get a look at them occasionally. But mainly head back to 'apartment'. Nooo its running time, time to get some more time in lol.

Chris Chandler
12th of January, 2008, 11:13
So... you don't want to know what they are?

Vash The Stampide
12th of January, 2008, 12:58
Vash-

Yeah try and look at them occasionally while running, at a good pace.

Chris Chandler
12th of January, 2008, 18:58
They keep up nicely. I mean, they are part of your pack. You don't realize it at first, as you are jogging to keep apart from them, but a rangy rottwieller keeps an easy pace with you. There are four mutts of various stripes, then a boxer, a yellow lab, and what looks to be some sort of terrier. They are all moving in and out with you, and, all of a sudden, you pull away from the rottie, but not before you, strangely enough, get the feeling that you are "down on his level". I mean, you're at eye level with him right now.

I wonder what happened?

Vash The Stampide
13th of January, 2008, 04:16
Okomi-

Ah...What the hell?
Ill look around seeing whats up or down, checking myself out also.

Chris Chandler
15th of January, 2008, 10:51
Everything else seems normal, you just... seem to be standing a little lower... and on your hands, I mean, paws and feet. Hey, those are new...

Vash The Stampide
16th of January, 2008, 00:39
Okomi-
So another form, awesome!... I can run really fast now.

So Ill just start running around in this new form, toward the genaral direction of my 'apartment'.

Chris Chandler
16th of January, 2008, 09:13
You'll find that you cover a lot of ground, but you, along with your pack, are starting to cause a commotion. People, specifically, are giving you a wide berth. It isn't long before you hear a siren. Actually, you can hear the siren from a good way off.

Any plans?

Vash The Stampide
16th of January, 2008, 11:56
Okomi-

Im going to my apartment, Okomi doesnt know what that means except maybe amblence or fire truck. When I get to the Hotel Ill go in the alley way......Ok, need to shape back.

Rolled a 4

Chris Chandler
17th of January, 2008, 15:25
Well, the hotel's a good bit off, and the siren is specifically just for you.

"Animal Control"

That's what it says on the side of the truck. What does that mean. It's cruising alongside you for about a block.

Vash The Stampide
17th of January, 2008, 16:01
Okomi-

Ah that it was a good way off, but if its on me Im going to ignore them unless they try somethin. Pretty must lose them if they case me.

If they do get out and try to capture me Ill yell, "Getem boys"
to the pack following me.

Chris Chandler
18th of January, 2008, 09:50
Interesting -

I'll need to see a Will check, then, if you please.

Vash The Stampide
19th of January, 2008, 08:18
Okomi-

Rolled a 9

Chris Chandler
19th of January, 2008, 09:44
You bark out a command (oh, I kill me) to the rest of the pack, then continue on. The rest of the mutts do, indeed, start circling the van as if it were a bull, or other large animal, trying to herd it. Naturally, the truck has to slow to a crawl to avoid killing at least three of the dogs, which affords you an easy escape.

Now then. Once you are in the relative safety of an alley near your motel, you attempt "turn off" being a dog. Interesting... it doesn't seem to want to go away. You're still a shaggy dog.

Vash The Stampide
19th of January, 2008, 10:15
Okomi-

If it doesnt go away, then there probably something I need to do as a Coyote. So Ill meditate. Roll-8

Chris Chandler
19th of January, 2008, 12:00
Interesting. Alright.

You hear shouting and yelling - your ancestors -

"Get away, you foul coyote!!!"

"Go back to the bushes, scavenger!!!"

"Eat your own vomit, nasty coyote!!!"

Um, you don't get a positive response, at all.

Vash The Stampide
19th of January, 2008, 13:30
Okomi-

Ill try to change back once more. Roll- 9
If not successful then Ill head toward the woods, probably closest place Okomi knows is the Park.

Chris Chandler
19th of January, 2008, 13:44
We'll treat that as a Will check to control your fear, which is definitely unnatural - you've never felt anything like it. You actually don't have to tell yourself to head to the park, you are veritably compelled to go there. You'll hide in the bushes for some hours before you feel like you are able to leave as a human, and do so.

Vash The Stampide
19th of January, 2008, 14:15
Okomi-

OK, that was an odd incident. Guess the ancestors dont like Coyote.

Ill head back to the 'apartment' since now Im not on all fours. When I get there Id like to perform the Yuki Ritual of Preparation, Im planing to go train and tame my power of Fire.

Chris Chandler
19th of January, 2008, 14:59
You go back to the hotel with no other incident. You do hear a few folks talking about some crazy dog pack attacking the dog catcher, and one lady actually saying the word Wolf.

Your 3 means that you perform the ritual flawlessly. You feel you are as well prepared as possible to tame fire as Coyote ever was.

Vash The Stampide
19th of January, 2008, 16:11
Okomi-

Hmm.... wonder what scared my ancestor so much?

Ill now try and meditate again, Roll-6.

Chris Chandler
19th of January, 2008, 16:32
As a human you meditate in your room, and you sense that your grandmother is approaching, carefully -

Okomi, is that horrible thing gone? You have the powers of our ancestors, it is true, but you must use caution when calling on the true form of Coyote. He is capricious and foolhardy.

Vash The Stampide
20th of January, 2008, 03:17
Okomi-

Yes the form is gone as of now Grandmother. What's so bad about the form are the other two bad as well, and what else his our ancestor ,Coyote, given me? I know of the power to shape. Ive been a raven, mice, and coyote. Also the use of fire, and something is strange with electricity. I wonder how much of the tales are true of Coyote, because if they are true, then since he passed them to me I would have them also. Or am I wrong?

Chris Chandler
22nd of January, 2008, 00:07
No, you are correct, Okomi. The raven, the mouse, though, they are the hidden aspects, those forms that present themselves when your courage fails you. They are... protective forms. The coyote awakens when you are at your most foolhardy, your most dangerous. When you become the coyote you must know that you are on the cliff's edge, and can fall at any minute.

Vash The Stampide
22nd of January, 2008, 05:54
( Dang I can see it now. Coyote from due to the danger then Coyote with an aura of fire :D)

Thank you grandmother, I will take my absense and go tame the powers of fire. I hope I can have your guidiance in this trianing. Ill take heed the warnings you have given me. But there is much evil and desterpence in the world. I need to VANQUISH! these thing and cleanse the world for the better. I hope in due time Ill learn of the powers Coyote gave me, or that he may show me what powers he has given me. And then I will cleanse all that are evil and tainted.

Chris Chandler
22nd of January, 2008, 13:03
With that your vision ends, and you find that it is mid-afternoon. What next, Okomi?

Vash The Stampide
22nd of January, 2008, 14:05
Okomi-

Ill pack up my tradational outfit that i used in the rititual, and then head to the beach. Ill take the bus out there, and I want to be there at sunset to start taming my power.

Chris Chandler
23rd of January, 2008, 04:16
Okay, that sounds easy enough. You pack up, and hike it to the bus stop that will take you to the beach (the same state park on which you passed out, in fact). You'll get there a good bit before sunset, if you would like to do anything before working on your power.

Vash The Stampide
23rd of January, 2008, 22:10
Ill work on my running while i wait for the sun to start setting. The sand should make the running a little more challenging.

Chris Chandler
25th of January, 2008, 08:56
This is definitely true. You'll get a good workout. Now then, since you lack what we normal folks call common sense (or, really, a sense of mortality), I'll need a HT check from you, please, to see if you pushed yourself too hard, as you are wont to do.

Vash The Stampide
25th of January, 2008, 15:13
Okomi-
Roll 10, Health 12

Chris Chandler
26th of January, 2008, 09:32
Hmm... That's a little close for comfort, honestly. I would say that you didn't push yourself to failure, but you are certainly tired. You'll note, too, that you'll garner a bit of attention from your exercise - not too much, but a few young ladies watch you for some minutes during your routine. You are just wearing your normal clothing, right - not your traditional garb, right?

Vash The Stampide
26th of January, 2008, 10:30
Okomi-

Nope regular clothes tradational is packed up. Ill start looking at the beach line, and try to spot an open spot. That is where no one is, and Ill put my stuff there. Ill rest while watching the sun set.

Chris Chandler
26th of January, 2008, 11:21
Oh, this is a good time of day to do so. Most people have left for the evening, and the party-goers are going to wait until nightfall to get to the beach. There are a few here and there, but by and large it's empty.

The sunset off the Pacific is a sight to behold. Here at the state park, the waves aren't particularly high, so you can see forever. The sun turns the entire ocean to flames as it sinks. You sit for a long time in relative silence as the sun goes down.

Vash The Stampide
26th of January, 2008, 11:41
Okomi-

Now Ill change into the ceremonial clothes. Ill then sit 'Indian' style, and begin to meditate.

Roll- 9: Random- 6

Chris Chandler
26th of January, 2008, 12:04
You are able to focus on your spirit, and look for the fire within. It takes patience and focus, which normally elude you, but you manage to find a place where you can visualize manifesting flame without a source. You take a long time then hold out your hand. You open your hand. You don't see a candle's flame, or some torch flame up. Rather, you can see that your hand is sheathed in flame, a very thin layer of dark red flame. It sheds a little bit of light. Concentrating on the sheath of flame you can make it increase in size just a bit, but it is difficult. You continue your concentration for just a bit, and then -

Say, excuse me? Are you okay? Y- you're on fire!

The voice is soft, until the exclamation that is, soft and pretty - definitely female.

Vash The Stampide
26th of January, 2008, 12:14
Okomi-

Holding the concentration and look back her.

"Im fine may I help you?"

Rolled 8

Chris Chandler
26th of January, 2008, 13:46
Well, you manage to maintain your concentration (though it is difficult). She is quite pretty - a little curvy Hispanic girl with long curly brown hair and big eyes. She's wearing a surfer's wet suit (short sleeved and legged neoprene), and, in fact, it looks like she's been out on the waves for the day. She's not dark-skinned, but rather lightly tanned, and she has tiny freckles on her cheeks.

She has a worried expression on her lips, which has her brow furrowed and a painfully cute pout on her lips.

Again softly, she replies -

Uh, you're okay? How are you doing that? That's... it's really cool.

Vash The Stampide
27th of January, 2008, 00:48
Okomi-

Ill hold may concentration on the flames, and reply..

"Just watch. You will see."

Ill begin to to and extend the flames even more.

Chris Chandler
27th of January, 2008, 04:20
You breathe slow and easy. You feel that it's almost easier to manipulate the flame, now that this young woman (who is probably right around your age) is watching so intently. You feel the need to succeed, to show her the power of your ancestors.

She is completely enraptured with you. She takes a slight breath in as your flames expand, and she bites her lip. She moves slowly closer to you, and you can tell that she wants to reach out and touch the flames on your hand. You find that the flames grow just that much more at her approach.

Who are you?

Vash The Stampide
27th of January, 2008, 05:00
Okomi-

Holding my concentration,

"I am Okomi. I can answer later."

At this point I want to grab the flames on my arm and pull it. As like rolling out a cloak from a roll.

Chris Chandler
27th of January, 2008, 12:03
I understand your intent, but what ends up happening is something akin to a flame "slinky", in that you have a bridge of flame between your hands, and it seems to oscillate between them. She blinks slowly, and you can't help but catch that she has a tiny fleck of sand on the lid of her right eye. As your flames grow she reaches out to the bridge of flame and puts her hands in the fire!

Your fire does not burn her.

She smiles slightly, her mouth opening just a tiny fraction as she licks her lips. She looks right at you.

Okomi. I'm Sophia. I've been looking for you, but, you know, I never realized it until just now.

Vash The Stampide
27th of January, 2008, 16:28
Okomi-

Still holding concentration, I also want to start to try and shape the flames into a Bow now.

"In what sense have you been looking for me?"

Chris Chandler
28th of January, 2008, 08:50
I have been having dreams - about fire, flame, and the like.

She starts playing with your flames, pulling them away from you, and they spread to her. She reaches in and takes hold of both of your hands.

Like years ago, when the city burned down. I was walking through the city, or I was... in the eyes of someone who had been, and I saw you, though it was you, maybe an ancestor. I -

She looks up, her eyes dancing with the flame; she is close enough to you that you can smell her.

They are only dreams, right?

Vash The Stampide
28th of January, 2008, 15:50
Okomi-

"They're more than dreams. It seems you may have the same gift as me."

Said uterly calm and with a serious tone. I will release full control of the flames as I move 'our' hands up to her face, gently touching her checks, and give her a true kiss. One of up most feeling, like the other half.

Something about this women....draws me close.

Chris Chandler
29th of January, 2008, 04:55
She leans in a returns the kiss, and flames flare up, then disappear. When you release from the kiss, she looks at you.

A... gift? What can you tell me of this gift?

Vash The Stampide
29th of January, 2008, 07:41
"It seems you may have the same gift of sight I do. Visions, that is. Watching the events of the past unravil before your eyes. I have a way to view these visions thru my dreams and thru meditation. But back to your first question.........I am Okomi son of Coyote, the Coyote of tales. As you have witnessed he passed on his powers unto me recently, and Im trying to gain complete control over them. The flames are just one of the many powers I have, but thus far the fire is the one i can control the best so far. So I decided to start there. There is something about you that Im drawn to. Just your pressence gives me ease."

Ill smile and look deep into her eyes- plus tell me what they look like :D.

"Also, you are beautiful, that is a bonus. As it seems tho my flames didnt burn you, so there has to be something special."

Ill stand up, and jesture to pull her up also since we are hlding hands, "would you care to participate in a ritual of my tribe?"

Chris Chandler
30th of January, 2008, 11:24
Here eye are large and dark. Her face is toward the ocean, and the stars and the waves play against them, making them shimmer.

I would be happy to participate. What do I need to do?

Vash The Stampide
30th of January, 2008, 14:18
Okomi-

"Well first you need to....."

Ill explian the ritual and show he what she needs to do for the ritual. Ill be doing a Ritual of Sight. Hopefully let the ritual help focus her visions and possibly let her see a few of the things I have.

Here are a few rolls incase- 10, 8, 8, 7

Savoir faire(Yuki Rits)- 14 skill; Ritual Magic-11; Yuki Rituals-12; Occultism-13;

Chris Chandler
2nd of February, 2008, 10:19
You do splendidly, as far as how you are supposed to run the rituals. You spend a long time on the beach with Sophia, between meditating, trying to link visions, and what you are pretty sure is some extended foreplay. You completely lose track of time. It is very dark when you actually notice. You see no moon, even, only stars.

Sophia moves in, her eyes making clear what she wants.

That would be a Will check, please... but only if you want to.

Vash The Stampide
2nd of February, 2008, 11:31
Okomi-

Gently rub her cheek with my hand, and French kiss her. Also start some questionable rubbing on the back side, and move in for some rubbing foreplay. See what her reaction is to all this so far but if she wants it all Im taking it all off, ladies first right...I dont even care who, or what see. Here and now.

Chris Chandler
2nd of February, 2008, 11:42
And that's all I needed to hear.

I'll need to see a Will check and then and Health check, please.

Chris Chandler
2nd of February, 2008, 13:25
((Rolls offscreen))

So, you start with the undressing, and she digs into you, scratching on your back. You feel the burn of the her nails, then your back goes numb, suddenly! You have the presence of mind to realize that everything is not as it seems, but you are pretty sure that she just poisoned you.

She steps back, her wet suit unzipped so that her breasts shimmer in the starlight. Her nails are long, longer, and more like claws now. Her eyes, still large and dark, seem to now exude a palpable blackness that sends a feeling of unholy power through you. Her hair, once wet and curled, and matted to her skin, is now flowing around her, wild.

Okomi, you don't look well at all.

She smiles so sweetly.

Vash The Stampide
2nd of February, 2008, 13:44
Okomi-

With a large grin...

"Feeling good, but its getting hot now. But whats this here?"

Ill just wait to see what it is she going to do next.

Chris Chandler
3rd of February, 2008, 08:16
She moves back toward you, licking her lips. She smiles and presses her breasts against you, her face nearly touching yours.

I just want what you have, that is... power. Don't worry, you'll really enjoy it, I'm sure. I'll my old lovers seemed to. I always leave them with a smile on their faces.

the blackness of her eyes begins to seriously weaken you. You are having trouble actually concentrating, at this point.

What now?

Vash The Stampide
3rd of February, 2008, 09:59
Okomi-

Fight back with her own medacine, Ill give her the power she seeks, well trying to go all out on her. Ill ever try and get her in the doggy style.....

"You want it, here have some!"

Ill avoid staring striaght into her eyes tho if they seem to weaken me. And try to burn up what ever 'posion' she put in me.

Chris Chandler
5th of February, 2008, 08:07
You try and bring forth some flame to bear, and you feel like somehow or another she is blocking you. You'll note it quickly enough, in fact, that I'll give you a chance to reconsider an action against her.

Vash The Stampide
5th of February, 2008, 09:01
Okomi-

....What the fuck cant use my powers? it might be that poision, or maybe its her herself. What ever the situation......

Ill push her off me, "Ok now it's going too for.. you can have my body, But NO one can have my powers!"

Now Ill Bitch slap her. Rolled 8 Brawling is 14

Chris Chandler
6th of February, 2008, 04:22
You slap her - she doesn't even try and move out of the way -

Now, honey, I didn't know that you liked it rough.

Her teeth flash as she leans in.

((let's see a dodge, please... Dodge and retreat might be a good idea...))

Vash The Stampide
6th of February, 2008, 08:13
Okomi-

Rolled a 9- Dodge is a 9. Got a gut feeling my rolls are about to go sour.

.....Wow She's feisty, Situations not right. Nows better than ever.....

Ill move out of her reach and this is where all that running training is going to come in handy. Cuase I'm going to start running but while running away I want to try and force a form of the Raven or Coyote.

While running off..., "Forgot that's there something else I needed to do now, Later!"

Chris Chandler
7th of February, 2008, 02:50
Still playing it off, eh?

You will manage to get away from her, but she will sink a nice bite into your shoulder! Perhaps the worst part of it is that you don't actually feel any pain (or any sensation, for that matter), in fact, as you retreat, you feel something similar to if you'd caught your coat on a doorknob - something stopping you, then you tug hard enough, and it comes free. She pulls back, and her mouth is completely covered in blood. It is dripping from her mouth and chin onto the sand. She looks positively excited about biting you - aroused.

Oh, now that I've gotten a good nibble, you've got to go? Oh, dear, who will keep me warm?

You haul out of there and quick, but you are still on the ground and still on two legs. You hear, in the distance (growing fainter)

Okomi! Thank you for the wonderful time! I'll be sure to see you again!

You run until your lungs nearly explode, which, like you've said, is getting farther and farther - Where were you planning on heading. There's a state road that lines right here, and, crossing it east, you get into residential with a few restaurants and the like, then a nearby college. Northeast gets you back closer to 'Frisco, though you won't get there without slowing your pace a bit.

Vash The Stampide
7th of February, 2008, 08:36
Okomi-

Ill slow my pace once Im free, down to a decent jog.

....Wonder what was all happening back there. Man that was hot. To bad we couldnt finish, if she only didnt try taking my powers....task....task... what a waste. Matbe another time when I figure out more about her. I know Ill be seeing her again, but Ill need a way to nullify what ever that was she put into my back. Then maybe next time we could go all the way :D.....

Ill be wanting to head to the college if it's the one Mary Ann teaches at, cause I know Im going to need some checking up.

..Man what a damn turn on, seeing that blood soaked inccoent face..... man...shes feisty...really feisty...

Chris Chandler

University of San Francisco, you do remember - Maria also teaches there.

As luck would have it, this is the college near you.

Vash The Stampide
9th of February, 2008, 12:55
Okomi-

Ill go there then. I need some medical attention but if shes not following me atm the moment I wont to take the time to tend my wounds roll-9 healing-14.

Ill go to the college after that.

Chris Chandler
10th of February, 2008, 12:25
You sit down, and start tending your shoulder - you can't reach your back. The adrenaline starts to come down as you tend you wound, and that's when you feel it. She took a chunk out of your shoulder, and your back is on fire. You take a few minutes and bandage up, the you get going again, and head to the university.

So where are you going to look? It's like 11:00 at night.

Vash The Stampide
11th of February, 2008, 10:37
Okomi-

Well the office first.

Chris Chandler
12th of February, 2008, 07:34
Okay, you wander for a good bit of time. The campus is quite large, with a number of buildings, dorms, and administrative offices. There are a number of people out and about - not dozens, but a number of groups of three or four. You look pretty rough, but you're the right age, so folks' tendency is to not hassle you. You really don't see an office specifically, but the main administrative building, a four story affair on the opposite end of campus, seems a likely culprit. The main issue here is that it is closed - all of the buildings that look like they might serve as classrooms had been as well.

Your action?

Vash The Stampide
12th of February, 2008, 08:03
Okomi-

Well that resort is out, so Ill approach the nearest group of people,

"Excuse me, Could I get some help?" said with complete exhaustion.

Chris Chandler
13th of February, 2008, 04:28
Okay, now that might work. You move up to the closest group of folks - a half dozen young women all sitting and talking, at a bench in the middle of one of the dormitories. They see you and two stand up, clearly ready to bolt. Two others look toward one of the girls, whereas another isn't facing you - you can't tell what she's doing. The girl the two others looked toward - a tallish brunette, ponytailed in shorts and a black babydoll T stands and takes a step toward you -

W - what's the problem? You don't look like you attend the university. What are you doing on - are you hurt?

She takes a few more steps toward you, and the other two girls that are standing take another few steps away from the table.

Vash The Stampide
13th of February, 2008, 08:03
Okomi-

Rolled 4 for lecherous,

Ill head to the table if there is room, cause Im not feeling to well.

"Yes, Im hurt. I tried doing what I could, but its worse than I thought. I probably need to see a doctor or nurse."

Chris Chandler
14th of February, 2008, 08:07
The girl who spoke to you stands her ground, but all the other girls get up and move away.

Yeah - did you get bit by a dog. That looks pretty bad. Let me call an ambulance, okay?

She flips up her phone for the call.

Vash The Stampide
14th of February, 2008, 08:38
Okomi-

Ill look at her, "Thank you for the help. You could say it was a dog, but it was a hot bitch."

I'll pretty much sit still till the ambulance shows up.

Chris Chandler
21st of February, 2008, 10:33
The other girls head out, but the one stays until the ambulance arrives. The EMTs take over in short order and clean you up on-site. She heads out once they arrive. She doesn't give her name.

After the EMTs stitch you up one asks if you need to be taken to the hospital?

Vash The Stampide
22nd of February, 2008, 07:46
Okomi-

Ill look up at the EMT, "No thanks, the stitching should be fine enough. Thank you tho."

Ill start heading back to my apartment. I have a meeting with J.M. Williams tomorrow. Ill use the bus this time tho.

Chris Chandler
22nd of February, 2008, 09:50
You limp back to the apartment right at about 2:00 AM. You aren't bothered, outside of a nagging feeling of being watched.

Vash The Stampide
24th of February, 2008, 05:37
Okomi-

Not the fist time, but Ill hope my ancestors protection is strong enough to hold them off. Beyond that time for sleep. I dont know what time Ill wake up but it'll probably be the cell phone J.M. Williams gave me.

Chris Chandler
26th of February, 2008, 15:02
Actually, you wake up within just four hours from when you pass out in your room. It's still dark, but you feel jittery, oddly alert. You feel like you could run to Williams' office, or just have a heart attack. You are famished.

Vash The Stampide
27th of February, 2008, 09:13
Okomi-

..What the hell is this feeling? Could J.M. be in trouble? Or.....

Ill but on some new clothes real fast, and start heading to Techtide Inc. Ill probably run so than take the bus, but if I start to get to exhausted Ill get on the bus.

Chris Chandler
27th of February, 2008, 12:34
It's good that you gave yourself a contingent plan. You start sprinting and while you think you could run the length of route 66, you also feel like if you don't slow it down you will have that heart attack. Something is definitely wrong.

While sitting on the bus, though, you feel like you could just jump right out of your skin. You are acting like the stories you've heard about drug addicts. Mentally, you know that you are not hiding your condition either. You are shaking and sweating, and you occasionally make a strange yelping sound. Even though you paid, the bus driver kicks you off further down Market because you were scaring the other passengers -

Get clean, scumbag, an' get offa my bus!

You are about 8 blocks from Techtite, and you are back on your feet.

Vash The Stampide
28th of February, 2008, 07:19
Okomi-

Ill take a sec to calm down, Ill walk over to the wall and take a seat. Then meditate for just a little bit to see if I can calm down. Roll 7 Med-12.

Chris Chandler
28th of February, 2008, 23:44
Your breathing exercises go a long way toward bringing you down, but you feel completely out of sorts, and still feel like you are going to jump out of your skin. The good news is, though, that your heart rate is slowing down to just really fast.

Vash The Stampide
29th of February, 2008, 07:33
Okomi-

Now with some breathe caught back up Ill start walking the next 8 blocks to Techtide.

Chris Chandler
7th of March, 2008, 02:21
The rest of the walk is a bit dizzy, a bit slow. You actually worry you might be late for your meeting.

Before you approach the building, as you cross the block toward the front entrance, you see a man walking toward you, dressed in the security uniform familiar to you.

Mr. Okomi, sir? Mr. Williamson asked me to escort you to a meeting?

Vash The Stampide
8th of March, 2008, 07:44
Okomi-

Looking at the man, "Yes. I have a personal meeting with J.M. So where to?"

Ill follow the man, but I'm going to be suspicious of this man. Ill follow him none the less, for if it seems we are going the right way then ok.

Chris Chandler
12th of March, 2008, 12:42
He leads you to a unmarked sedan, parked on the side of the street near you. He opens the rear passenger door, allows you to enter, then climbs into the driver's seat. He head off and back down Market, then turns uptown.

Mr. Williamson asked to meet you for lunch. Do you have any food allergies, sir?

Vash The Stampide
13th of March, 2008, 07:56
Okomi-

"Nope!" ...Mmm fooodd.....foooodddddddd.

Chris Chandler
14th of March, 2008, 14:10
You cruise on up to the North Beach area and the car stops at the edge of the water. The driver opens your door and walks you to a pier. There aren't any buildings on the pier, just boats - big, expensive yachts.

The Queen Anne's Revenge, third to the end, sir.

The driver hops in the car and pulls off, unless you stop him.

Vash The Stampide
16th of March, 2008, 02:37
Okomi-

Ill reach out and grab his sleeve, "Excuse, could you escort me to the boat proper so that J.M. knows you done your job well?"

Ill then let go of his sleeve and wait for him to take the lead.

Chris Chandler
16th of March, 2008, 03:02
He turns his head a bit to the side, smiles, and then nods.

He escorts you to the Queen Anne's Revenge, a modern 80 footer.

http://www.caribbean-boat-charters.com/images/s_boat.jpg

He allows you to board, and a young woman - you would recognize her as one of the receptionists at Techtite, smiles and welcomes you aboard.

Mr. Williamson is below deck. He'll be with you momentarily. Can I get you a drink and some sashimi perhaps?

Vash The Stampide
17th of March, 2008, 10:27
Okomi-

With a large grin," Yes, Please! Havent eaten my breakfast yet Im starving!"

No Ill be even more jittery more so for excitment of eating.

Chris Chandler
18th of March, 2008, 04:47
Yeah, you still aren't looking well.

The woman takes you to a sitting area, and returns quickly with an assortment of sashimi and some ice water.

Do you need anything else? Are you feeling well?

Vash The Stampide
18th of March, 2008, 07:39
Okomi-

Looking at her with eyes of a hunter staring down on prey,"More food please."

....Nope not feeling to well, damn I want to know what this is. Ill ask J.M. after our other discussion.....

Chris Chandler
18th of March, 2008, 07:51
She leaves the tray for you, which contains a nice selection of fresh sashimi along with some seasoned seaweed, soy, and some ginger. She heads below deck.

Vash The Stampide
19th of March, 2008, 10:06
Okomi-

Ill enjoy what see brought, aka scarf the food down, and wait for J.M.

Chris Chandler
19th of March, 2008, 23:11
At what point will you get bored? You've eaten, and seem to have calmed down a little, but it's been 15 minutes.

Vash The Stampide
20th of March, 2008, 09:02
Okomi-

Bored 5 minutes after eating that sounds about right. Ill sit down Indian style and begin to meditate, Rolled-8 Med=12

Chris Chandler
20th of March, 2008, 12:46
You'll start to sway counter to the pitch of the waves, and quickly settle into a meditative trance. You can tell that the yatch is setting off away from the piers, but you focus on the motion beneath you.

This would be the first time you'll be out to sea - that will be interesting, but we aren't there yet.

You can feel the vessel turn and head out to open water, but in your state you have no clear indication of direction. You float and start to feel your mind drift into the sky, flying like Old Man Crow. Your spirit almost feels like a kite, barely tethered to your body.

Is there anything you would like to do?

Vash The Stampide
21st of March, 2008, 06:46
Okomi-

Soar, soar as high as I can possibly go. Then, "Grandmother you there? May I speak with you?"

Chris Chandler
21st of March, 2008, 23:10
Strangely, you don't hear your grandmother. She isn't ignoring you - you can tell when she does that. Rather, she isn't around. You still do soar, though, feeling the wind currents and, rather than being buffeted by them, you seem to know how to ride them, darting below a gust, gliding along another.

Far off in the distance, seemingly miles away, you hear -

Well, I understand he was right here, but he isn't now. Maybe he went to the bathroom. I'll be at the helm, Jasmine. Please escort him there when you see him.

Yes sir. I'm sorry sir.

Vash The Stampide
22nd of March, 2008, 06:41

Not as such. You flit down to the deck, but you are still in bird form. The boat is moving fast, and is rocking back and forth. You have trouble holding on the swaying rail, though you manage it.

What now?

Vash The Stampide
23rd of March, 2008, 08:12

Well since Im stuck in this for a little while Ill look around and see if i can find J.M., and keep an eye out for who all else is on the boat.

Chris Chandler
25th of March, 2008, 01:28
You overheard him intending to head to the helm - that would be near the front of the boat, but since you're a landlubber and a low techy, give me an IQ roll to see if you just don't get yourself lost.

Chris Chandler
28th of March, 2008, 11:22
You get yourself lost and end up where there are a lot of pipes, dials and more than a bit of heat. You can tell you've shifted out of your bird form, and are sitting below deck, staring at the temperature dial for a boiler.

Vash The Stampide
29th of March, 2008, 16:51

....Cool a boiler, hmmm what type of boiler is it?...
Ill be looking for a means out of this area, Im on water don't really wanna mess things up, Roll 8 will 14.

Chris Chandler
1st of April, 2008, 00:06
You really don't have any sort of expertise about anything mechanical. It looks like a great big water heater and it has pipes leading all along the length of the mechanical room, at least. You are in the mechanical room, that much is clear, and you see a door behind you, a big solid steel door. It is closed.

How did you get down here?

Vash The Stampide
1st of April, 2008, 07:51
Okomi-

Well if it's closed lets see if I can open it, but if it's looked Ill try and find another way out.

Chris Chandler
2nd of April, 2008, 04:50
This door is locked - It has a pressure-proof latch, but you are unable to release it.

The mechanical room is honestly not very big. A quick scan across the room shows that there might be another entrance at the other end of the room, behind the boiler.

Vash The Stampide
2nd of April, 2008, 08:46
Okomi-

If it looks like there might be a door Ill go check it out then, see if there is a door.

Chris Chandler
3rd of April, 2008, 00:50
The other side of the mechanical room has a door, but you can tell that it does not lead to another section of the ship. It is a regular door, and it is closed, but unlocked.

Vash The Stampide
3rd of April, 2008, 12:16
Okomi-

Well then lets open it.....

Chris Chandler
3rd of April, 2008, 13:04
This is a storage room - there are a few boxes, marked as spare parts for various machinary. You really don't know what they are. There is also a mop and a bucket - the bucket is dry.

Now what?

Vash The Stampide
4th of April, 2008, 07:52
Okomi-
........Now we scream.........

"Hey can anyone hear me, Hello!! If u can hear me I'm here with the boiler keeping it company. It's not very talkative, so Please find me if you can!!" as loud as he can possibly scream, even rolling for breathe control- Rolled 7 skill=10. Oh and it's till someone response. But of corse I'll pace around teh area screaming.

Chris Chandler
8th of April, 2008, 07:01
It won't take long for someone to find you - the girl who greeted you, in fact. She doesn't question you, but simply walks you to Mr. Williamson.

Here you are, sir.

She leaves with never a groan.

J.M. is at the helm - a large room with an excellent view of the yacht's direction, it is state of the art, not that you'd recognize more than the fact that the ship has a large computer - and he eyes you curiously.

So, how are you today?

Vash The Stampide
8th of April, 2008, 07:20
Okomi-

Wide smile," Doing fine. How have you been, and hows that business running for you?" Ill walk over extending my hand for a shake, and if he goes for it, Ill pull him in for a hug. "To think we could very well be cousins."

Chris Chandler
9th of April, 2008, 01:32
He allows you to pull him in, and smiles when you break the embrace.

That is rather interesting, and I'd be curious to know how you came up with such a theory.

He's waiting for a response.

As a note, you are out in open water - you don't see any land in sight.

Vash The Stampide
10th of April, 2008, 08:19
Okomi-

With a wide grin on my face," You remember our past conversations on the visions I had a little while back? Well in London they were more real than just a vision. But also I had another vision and this time it was of his direct death at the building. Someone had killed him before burning down the building and had taken one of his eyes. I tried casing the person but he went into and alley with two other men, and one of those men flipped there cloak and they vanished. Yet to me the weirdest part was the man how could see me in the vision, and he told me I didn't belong here, grabbed me and literally through me out o the vision. So due to the level of how real the vision was it has to me this person is related otherwise there would be no reason for it to be so real, that farther pushes the point I may very well be a cousin to you."

Chris Chandler

Your visions, as they are, really unsettle me. I don't... I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts, or visions, or, really, anything like that. I really just... You take so much on faith. It's hard to reconcile things that I can't tangibly hold.

He enters a few calculations into the computer, the ship seems to respond, changing direction slightly.

Is there any way that you can show me?

More or less like stressed," Well, I dont believe I can show you. I have been through my vision quest and practiced my meditation a lot. But I could show you something that but what you think of, shouldn't really be able to do. If you'll follow me to the deck."

When go to the open area, Ill start to produce my flame, Roll= 9. 14 is my will and the create flames failure mark.

He nods his head, then follows you out. Now then, just what are you going to do, as far as presentation?

Vash The Stampide

Okomi-

Ill walk out to the open area on the deck, now looking toward J.M with a smirk," I would assume that if you don't believe in spirits and the like, only tangible things, then this might be hard to understand. Simple thing is, you tangible see or feel everything. But here Ill so you this, and maybe on your eyes some to the fact that there is more out there than you would believe."

With that Ill extend my arm into the air, I want to try and create a ball of flame in the palm of my hand and then, I want it to slowly blanket me. Kind of like if I was holding a blanket in my hand holding over me, but of flame.

Chris Chandler
16th of April, 2008, 10:15
You begin your display, and you find that the girl who you met last night has taken alot out of you. You are able to create the ball, and it begins to blanket your arm. All of a sudden you feel the searing heat of the flame!

Roll Will to keep it going through the pain, or you can cut it off.

Rolled an 8 but Ill cut it off anyways. " Damn that girl, She drained to much out of me. But, what do you think of that? Also, do you have something like actual food on this boat?" Looking like a starved man and having a disgusted look to my face. "Cause, Im really hungry and those snacks wasnt much."

Chris Chandler
18th of April, 2008, 01:46
J.M. blinks, then replies coolly -

He looks out toward the ocean.

Now walking over to J.M.," So, what do you think now, on spirits and the like?"

Chris Chandler
22nd of April, 2008, 11:16
Ah, a regular Mata-Hari, eh?

He laughs at his own joke.

It's better not to drink the poison yourself, Okomi. If I were you, I'd keep a distance. Pretty isn't worth dead.

He'll ponder your question.

Well, spirits are out there, I can't deny that. I... I mean. You've seen them. I've seen them.

But I do have to ask you one thing, where are we out here in the ocean?" looking around out into the open view.

Chris Chandler

I'll bring him back and put him in the family mausoleum. It won't be anything, but you are welcome to attend.

Chris Chandler

The meal is a nice spread of seafood and Polynesian fare. In fact, there is enough food here for more than the handful of people who attend the meal. You recognize J.M. and his assistants, but there is also a middle-aged Asian woman in a business suit who introduces herself as Mrs. Kim, an older gentleman, also in business attire, who greets you but does not introduce himself, and a young man, perhaps a few years older than yourself, who introduces himself as Kip Martin. He is dressed in a nice polo shirt and slacks.

Spectacle it is. That's perfectly fine. The ladies will laugh, certainly. It certainly stops anyone from having any conversation with you. The older gentleman and J.M. are embroiled in quiet discussion, and Kip is more interested in Mr. Williamson's Hispanic assistant than some Yuki mystic.

Chris Chandler
1st of May, 2008, 23:21
That would actually be quite easy to accommodate. You'll be able to find some proper ray-soaking attire, if you wish. You find a lounge, and you'll find that it is Kip who actually takes you up on your offer (?), decked out in board shorts and sunglasses. He has a book - Atlas Shrugged - and is mostly quiet. About two hours in, though, he'll pause at a chapter -

So, how do you know Uncle James?

And no Ill just keep wearing my clothes to tierd to change.

Chris Chandler
6th of May, 2008, 02:45
Fate? Well, you've got a pretty broad range, there. I mean, are you talking about predicting the future, or are you talking about Karma?

He's sipping on a beer, enjoying the afternoon sun.

Rolling back over, keeping my eyes closed," No I merely want to know witch if either you believe in. Nothing is for certain till the true event unfolds, but who is to say witch way it goes. That is the question I leave you with. I myself have answered this question and live by it." Ill smile, and look toward the sun, extend my hand out as to grab the ever burning sun. Now I will look over at Kip for his response.

Chris Chandler
8th of May, 2008, 23:13
Oh, that was my answer. I'm a terrible guesser. What's your opinion?

Vash The Stampide
9th of May, 2008, 05:56
Okomi-

Still chuckling," Oh I have to same opinion as you on that matter. I like how you put it- Predestined Free Will. Yes, I strongly believe luck to be the force guiding us all. Luck will give some people the power to overcome their chosen Fate, and make their own Destiny. For the other not so lucky, will be swallowed whole by their fate, and have no opportunity to change it. But there will be those with the ability. The question for them is if they have what it takes to temp fate, and make their own destiny,or to follow whats before them.

I myself- looking at my hands in front of me, remembering my encounter with my father, Coyote,- I myself have been given this power to overcome and temp fate. I will do some with all my spirit and will. I will be the solo creator of my Fate, and my Destined future. Thus I will also take responsibility for all the wakes created from temping fate, and Protect those I can. Also to try and show others that they to can gain the power to alter their fate. That is my opinion. But if you will excuse me I need to meditate now. But after if you would like, you can assist me in my ritual after." Now Ill begin meditating- Rolled

(Sorry, work got the better of me last week)

You get the same feeling that you had when you traveled to England. Here, closer to your home, you get a better feel for what is happening. Your grandmother - all your ancestors, really - are tied to the land of their birth. They cannot travel far from where they are tied, and you sense that your Grandmother is waiting for you in the spirit world, yes, but cannot reach you physically. It is as if she is waiting along the California coast for your return. This level of tangibility actually hits your body a little harder than you could anticipate, and you'll find that you'll have gone unconscious for about an hour.

(Sorry for the delay. I'll work on getting more consistent with your game!)

You'll feel like you haven't rested at all, but it will turn out that you slept for 8 solid hours. You feel much better after some good rest even if it is aboard ship.

You wake up and it is pitch black outside. What woke you up, actually, was the sense of relative stillness. The boat is rocking, slightly, but there is no sense of forward motion at all.

You look high and low throughout the ship. There is clear evidence of people actually being here at one point - half eaten food, drinks left untouched, unmade beds, but you don't see any evidence of where they might have headed.

Now, you are surrounded, of course, by a very plausible place they could have gone, but that's less than desirable for you. There are liferafts, and there the lift for the small two-man motorboat, but it is gone. The yacht isn't adrift, either, the anchor is down.

Chris Chandler
14th of August, 2008, 22:10
You see nothing past the normal wear and tear on a ship. As you look across, you see a glimpse of something in the water. Sure enough, just barely poking out from under the yacht, you see the dinghy, submerged, on the reef below.

.....Ah so their under water, makes enough sense.....

Ill search around for some rope and look for a means down to the water, like a ladder.

Chris Chandler
15th of August, 2008, 11:30
There is a rope ladder near where the small watercraft was being stored. It reaches down to the water.

Vash The Stampide
16th of August, 2008, 05:57
Okomi-

Is the free standing rope I can grab, also grab some goggles, if so Ill tie it off at my foot, and then tie the other end on the ladder on the edge of the water, And then put the goggles on. And Id take a look under the water.

If no rope or goggles, Ill climb down and take a look but stay holding on to the ladder.

Chris Chandler
19th of August, 2008, 03:33
You'll find goggles, fins, even SCUBA gear, though you don't have the first idea about how it works. There is also a snorkel, which you think you can operate. There isn't any rope, though.

You gingerly lean down from the rope, just barely sticking your goggles into the water. The salt spray peppers your face and your mouth fills with the taste. You see a dim coral reef, about 40 feet from the surface. The boat has sunk down to the reef. It looks damaged. You can't tell any real detail, though, from here.

Vash The Stampide
19th of August, 2008, 07:08
Okomi-

.....Well there'sa coral, wonder if anyone is around?....

Ill take a deep breathe, and

......Here goes nothing....

Chris Chandler
19th of August, 2008, 22:28
Okay, you aren't a strong swimmer, but you can hold your breath for a good long time, which helps. You are also skinny, which means that you can get down closer to the damaged boat, about midway between the yacht and the boat - the flippers help.

There is a hole in the boat, about a foot wide. You see the wood around the hole looks burnt, scorched. The hole itself is perfectly round. There is coral damage to the hull of the boat, as well.

Of course, now is when you sense motion. You don't see anything, exactly, like a shark or anything like that, just that there is something moving nearby.

Vash The Stampide
20th of August, 2008, 06:27

...Hmmm thats not good something is around here. Hopefully its not Sophia, that would be a bad time but shes the only other person I know that used fire before......

You'll see it soon enough. There is a brief movement to your right, then as fast as you can react, and *boom* you are hit in the leg, knocking you about. You are about 15 feet from the surface. You can see the flashing of the creature, and then the waters light up from the bioluminescence of about 30 big squid start to approach you!

Okay, you're holding your breath, but you are having a time getting to the surface. The squid are interested in you, definitely - one grabs you and pulls you (thankfully) laterally about 20 feet or so, then lets go. You, and the group of squid are, generally speaking, moving away from the yacht.

You've got about another minute of air.

Just as your lungs are starting to burst from not breathing, you are yanked back once more, and that's it - You may pass out now, and then out from nowhere you hear a clank and a thump and you are suddenly surrounded by cold blackness.

Ah, good - now what got you out in a school of humboldts like that? Where had you gone off to? We looked for you for half a day!

What do you mean you were on the ship? We'd been all over the ship, raised anchor, done a spiral search, only came by here again because we saw the wreckage of the dinghy. Are you telling me that you didn't take the dinghy?

Okomi-

Now looking utterly confused," No, I didnt. After we ate I went to the deck and talked to your nephew, then went to my cabin and slept. When I woke up the ship was anchored and the dingy was gone. So for the entire day I went searching the ship yelling out for anyone. No one responded. Then I saw something of a metalic ship in the water, so I decided to check it out. Then those things came after me, and I guess yall grabbed me?"

Know Ill scatch my head and look around.
