Interesting... and possibly one of the least powered epics of that level I have ever seen, no offense, simply odd. What happened to ability score increases? Or was he taken from 2nd to 3rd very recently?

Hrmm, this character sure looks weak. My lvl 12 Hobgoblin barbarian (which I've been using for quite a while in my face-to-face games) would come close to outmatch this ranger.

Anyway, in order for this character to be interesting as an NPC, it would help to know its background...

Also, as a quick note.

If I remember right, you character can cast 3rd and 4th level spells. You don't need to have a +4 modifier in order to cast fourth level spells, you only need to have a 14 in the ability score.

Otherwise, low ability score campaigns would be nearly impossible, if not impossible, for wizards to be able to cast a 9th level score if they needed a +9 in the ability (28 pts).

I will have to get back with you on ability score changes.Sorry, this was done off memory my DM lives 4 hours from me in Oklahoma city and has my character sheet in a fileing cabinet.
we meet ounce a year to do tabletop rpg.But yes I have played this same character since 1990.
BACKGROUND:
Was born in a city called "Carcer Urbis".on a planet called"Questerria".
has traveled through "Faerun" campaighns although, wasnot born on
that prime material. Reached it via planar travel through devices called "Stargates".
is pursued by evil travellers named "Maelvo" and "Ho hun So" who want to see him dead. Their NPCS so donot ask me their status/Score I only know we have battled and many times I had to run for it.
Part of the ADVENTUREING GROUP called Dream Warriors.

Spell wise I only know I was told a 13 wis for a cleric only allows it to cast 1st level spells, same for sorceror and bards but is a 13 charisma that allows them to cast 1st.
so tried to do the math in my head as I said I did this from memory. My dm only lets me see my character ounce a year if I am lucky to be in oklahoma to play around his dinner table.

Before 1996 when I joined Military this adventurerer got to see alot of action.
I was able to go to my DMS Trailer back then more often. But since then we both have moved into better living areas , He now has a home with like 8 bedrooms/double door garage/and a pool=)

so dropped to one time a year since 1996.

A small human? Level 41 and only +16 stat modifier?

I don't want to be offensive but I think if someone needs an epic NPC they'd just build one themselves. This one is a little... lacking.

is okay Lune I will find out from my DM this week what my attributes are exactly at. Then update character sheet with any changes. It might turn out not so bad. Sorry, cannot do anything about size. My adventurerer is same size as me on earth. 5 foot 5

5'5" is the height, not the size. You have small listed when it should be medium.

Wrong Nooctyx, you only need a 19 in a score to cast 9th level spells, it is based off of your ability score, not modifier. Easy to make that mistake though.

Anyway, that particular character needs to be beefed up.

Link, you can't disagree with somebody who is agreeing with you.

Tofu, I'd go back over your character sheet. It seems riddled with mistakes which have left him woefully underpowered. It may be an idea to give us a physical description along with some details on his behaviour.

Right now, this character isn't interesting enough to make me even considering using him in anything I'm running.

I hear what BRR is saying, however... it does inspire me to post up some of my players epic characters for your viewing pleasure. These characters are all a little overpowered in my opinion. I'll get them up when I have a little more time, perhaps later this evening. Well, off to clean some house for me.

It's what I said in the first statement. The second statement (about needing a 28 to do 9th level) was to show the exaggeration and wrongness of needing the modifier instead of 10 + spell level in the stat.

And as for the character, ability scores are needed to be buffed, as well as equipment.

I apologize, I misread your statement. That's what I get for skimming.

Well, after noticing your character's name, I now know why you chose 'Tufu' as your username...

Anyways, you need to fix some things up: The first thing that I noticed (and it was mentioned before, I know), was that, although the character is a human, you have your size down as 'small.' I also noticed that your weapons have an enchantment bonus of +6 for your katar, +7 for your crossbow and +10 on your armor, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you can only get a maximum enchantment bonuses of +5? Your stats also seem a little sub-par. And I'd have to agree with BRR, if I'd want to include the character into whatever I'm running, I'd like a physical description as well as behavioral information.

Enchantment bonuses in epic can get as high as you want.

Well, if I recall, technically they cap at +10, though I don't have my book here, and then there is a caveat which tells the GM he can push the cap further out if he wishes.

Yeah... more gold than the Earth can hold... next painful moment! On the other hand, why did I get that book! It is useless, and on the SRD besides!

I stand mistaken, I'll be sure to try to get all of my facts straight before commenting on something like that again. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Honest mistake. The SRD has a wealth of info on it though.
