Not involved but still want to post comments on the matches? Do so here.
Plus, if you post an IC cheer for a crowd member (or a part of the crowd) and I see it before I update the match, I'll include it in the match update.
In later rounds please be sure to indicate which match your IC cheer is intended for so that I can place it in the right match.

I intend to boo and cheer, but am unsure of how I will go or how to present it in IC. Would you prefer we only IC cheer/boo once per update? That might make more sense than running out the party list...

I'm going to be cheering and booing.

I might as well make characters to cheer and boo with. Thanks for the clarification, and I hope the further running of the tournament goes well.

Looking around and seeing no one joining the chanting Akiko shuts up. But just as soon as she does the great Brunhilda goes airborne in a fiery frenzy.
WOAAAH!!! GO FIRE LADY!! *whistles loudly*
that's a big bitch.
freak!
SHUT UP!! SHE'S HOT!!! :D
[Ok, I'm not reading everything but I am desparately trying as this is pretty awesome. And that is some cool thematic use of fire and rock throwing Boom. Good luck on getting out of the catcher Tash. There're so many contestants its a bit confusing.]

LSD makes this match quite interesting to watch. It's currently being sold by vendors all over the stadium. Get your trips while they're hot!!

Approximately an hour before the gladiator match between Coravel and Del starts an announcer steps up on the large bar counter in front of the arena.
"Hear me, hear me, everyone! On this grand day and in awaiting of the gladiator matches, The Untouchable has seen to it that you will not be thirsty! In the dawn of his imminent victory there is free ale for all! The..."
The remainder of his words are drowned in the exhilarated screaming of the crowd.
The bar is prepared. There are rows and rows of filled mugs waiting for the spectators...
[Free ale will be available up to 15 minutes before the start of the tournament. Please deduct the costs for this from Coravels's funds, BP. :)]

Lily entered the arena looking forward to todays first match. Her two favorite gladiators would be facing each other. Although not the most fearsome, they were the most... attractive. Of course she hoped that the representatives of her race would do well, even if they were handicapped by the ridiculous limitation on magic. Spells are a weapon like any other, she thought, why should they be limited?
"Look!" an excited man pointed toward her, "Isn't that Lily Moonsong?"
Lily quickly pulled her cloak closer around herself and moved away. She was dressed far more moderately than in her qualifying match, but she was a striking woman regardless. Her fluid movements would betray her to those with an eye for it, but Lily doubted that such rabble would notice. In her arrogance she overlooked a man that is not easy to miss, although he certainly noticed her...

Callen watched as Lily moved away but did not try to intercept her. He respected Lily's talent and skill, but she was cold in her dealings and did not invite approach.
The people around him kept a respectful distance, not wanting to be to close to someone who was so obviously dangerous. Callen flexed his clawed hands self-consciously. The gladiator he wanted to see, Rakesh, was not participating today, but he felt he could learn from any of the competitors in the master's tournament.
My first tournament, Callen thought, I hope I do well.
The first match was announced and the competitors appeared on the field. Callen looked forward to seeing how the masters handled themselves.

Razor Charlie (http://norwoodmatt.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/DannyTrejo.jpg) had been considering the possibilities of joining the tournament. As fate had it, he didn't have enough daggers made to only subdue his opponent. Being an assassin for hire didn't allow for spending his money so frivolously. So, he didn't join. He sneers at everything around him. That is...until his eyes land on the lovely dancing lady near him.
...perhaps there are some perks to attending rather than competing. His sneer doesn't leave his face but he looks a bit more pleased. He actually grins when the Cloud of Death enters the arena. In a rare instance Razor Charlie is taken in by the show around him and not only decides to talk, but... "Nice entertainment, Cloud of Death!"

*continued from gladiator stables
Rakesh enters the arena a few minutes before the match between Del and Coravel to plenty of cheers of his own. He grabs a mug of the free ale and clinks his mug against those of the the spectators as he makes his way toward the rail on the south side of the arena, leaving a wake of cheering fans.
Finding the seat he wants, he taps the rich merchant on the shoulder and says, "I think you're in my seat." The man turns to his nearby body guard, "Hemmet! Do your job!" but sees the guard frozen in awe. The merchant turns to Rakesh and his eyes widen in recognition as his jaw drops to his chest. "Don't worry, just scoot over." Rakesh shouts "Cheers!" and bangs mugs with the still wide eyed man, and settles in next to the merchant. Always worth making friends with the wealthy. Rakesh nudges the merchant in the ribs and says with a smile, "Pop those eyes back in your head. The match is starting."

Razor Charlie sits in at the next tournament. That between Rakesh and Coravel. He strokes his moustache as he watches. About ready to leave he mutters something under his breath "...stupid non-lethal ruling. If not for that I would be making pincussions..." and then stops as some commotion is made by the judges. Sneering over in their direction he looks down to see what all the fus is about. A rare grin crosses his face as he sees blood dripping from a wound on Rakesh's hand and then he frowns deeply as he sees the wound close as the half-dragon recieves his healing. "What the...let them fight it out! I wanna see blood! Why the hell else would I come to a gladiator battle? @#&^$ judges. Disarm his face, Coravel!"
...Razor Charlie always was a violent man...

"Fire Lady! Fire Lady!! Scorch him, burn him, sear him!!
Fire Lady! Fire Lady!!"
Brunhilda's fans are standing and frantically waving small red pieces of cloth to urge her on.
"HOG... TIE! HOG... TIE!!"
Gork's fans are clapping every two seconds mimicking the sound the manacles make when they close on their victim.

Razor Charlie has been spectating at the Gork vs. Brunhilda fight. He had heard about the fight between the firey lady and the Cloud of Death. He came away a bit surprised but wanted to see how she faired in a one on one fight.
As he sits and watches the fight he is let down. Completely. Sneering outwardly he thinks to himself - well, she complained that she didn't like the idea of attacking with impunity. Guess she will have to get used to it. Perhaps she is getting a taste of her own tactics anyway. He spits and turns his back as he walks away, knowing that the fight was over before it started. As he is leaving he hears the announcement of the winner and hardly aknowledges it.
