Has anyone ever tried to connect a series of free adventures from the Wizards site into a plausible campaign? I'm thinking of doing it but I was wondering if anyone had any succes or failure with it.
BRR Edit: As much as I assume you mean this to be solely about D&D, WotC do offer these things for all of their systems and this does warrant a tag.

I've never ran one as written, but I have used two for heavy inspiration on a series of adventures. I rarely think in the scope of single adventures when I'm in my creative moods. I tend to plot things within plots. I think I tend to do this because I want to be prepared and know that most great games are more matrix in element than linear. A thousand hooks is better than none.

I haven't used them.
Apparently, Andorax (an old DM, hasn't been around) had a campaign that used them, at least at the start.
I could imagine stringing together a few of them that have similar settings.
The best way would be to homogenize all the enemies to be the same monster type (like, all kobolds), and have a far-reaching goal near the end.
