She draws out her Trump of Jorden and studies it, and then steps through into whatever waits there.

She finds Lester and soon is activating the Trump of Jorden.

She feels the opening of the Trump way, as of portals flung wide and seas parted, and finds herself standing on the grass of the castle courtyard. The sky is grey and the breeze stiff and chill.

A moment later the front door widens and Pierre steps out and bows, to stand waiting for her.

Raevyn looks around, not too worried about the chill yet. With winter in Amber, she's dressed somewhat appropriately. She smiles to Pierre and steps forward, toward the man and the house. "Hello, Pierre. Sorry for the intrusion. Is Josh here, or has he been recently?"

[Wired*Nun]

Pierre smiles and shakes his head. "I am sorry, my lady, but my lord Joshua has not been here since you left a few moments ago."

Raevyn nods, frowning. Time has been slowed here, and remains that way (making too much time spent in Jordan rather inconvenient actually). She looks down at the large rat she should still have with her, unless he's scampered off again.

"Thank you, Pierre. I'll likely be leaving again soon, much as I'd like to stay. I do think he's given me the slip." She smiles reassuringly, then turns away, addressing Lester if he's there.

"Okay, not here...Maybe at his mother's Shadow home? Or in Chaos...Don't suppose you have any ways of finding him, even through Shadows?"

[Wired*Nun]

Lester puts his paws on his hips and gives her a disapproving look, as if to say, "How could you doubt?" He scampers inside past Pierre, returning a moment later with a tablet and pencil.

I can try to find him in shadow, but it will take time and effort he writes in a fine, elegant hand. He gives a little snort of amusement at any surprise she displays at his verbal skills. I doubt this is of his own doing. Perhaps the Curse has caught him again.

"You're just full of surprises, aren't you?" She says after blinking a bit. Then she shakes her head. "Think it'd work any faster if we worked together on it, me helping you however I can with my own Shadow-shifting while you follow the trail? If it is his Curse, he'll need help. If it's something else...Same deal. Lead the way."

[Wired*Nun]

Thank you, but I can go places you cannot. He shruggs. Give me a Trump of you and I will call you when I can. I suggest you gather your kin together and try to break through to him by Trump, and keep trying from time to time. Perhaps at the meeting you are having later.

"Right...meeting." She sighs, and eyes the rat. After a moment's consideration, she creates a Sketch of herself. "I haven't any spare Trumps, but this should do, if you can even use it, and Josh can't. I'll see if I can't convince the others to get through to him. In the meantime, I think I'll check Vela's Shadow home, to see if he's gone there. Or maybe to Teyawahne. In any case, you check where you can, and I'll check where I can, in the time I've got."

If that works for now, she'll get a horse from the stables--if not her own, if it was last here--and ride out for now.

[I honestly can't recall anymore where Rae last had her usual mount, so if it's here, all good, if not, she'll try to borrow one.]
