Day 1
Guild Xerxes group departs from Gomorrah city with contracted guards, explorers and servants for a known Ehb ruin site two days to the east.
Day 3
Wagons arrive at the site mid-morning and while the camp established two teams are dispatched into the ruin via the only visible entry-point, a hole in the ceiling of the topmost floor.
After passing through several rooms containing a variety of artifacts and encountering small groups of Ghola, one of the teams comes across a caved in region and Sevilin is sent back to the surface in order to recover shovels. Back on the surface the camp was in chaos with the second team having already returned bearing Joshua and Felix, the two having been struck down and poisoned by large spiders dwelling within the ruin.
Sevilin returns to the ruin and brings the rest of his team back to the surface so that Inyx can treat the wounded. The Guildsman Superior elects to halt the rest of the day's expeditions. Leto, a man experienced in working for the Guilds on a contract, takes charge of the security arrangements for the camp.
During Hargin and Sevilin's watch a pair of goblins are spotted approaching the camp and are promptly shot although the attack is quickly dismissed by the Guildsmen as nothing more but thieves sent from a nearby lair.
Day 4
The following morning the teams are re-arranged slightly due to Felix and Joshua still being unable to work. Artok and Yan remain at the surface camp serving as the daytime guard. The first team are charged with reaching the lowest level of the ruin in the hope of finding some kind of vault (evidently holding whatever it was that drew Guild Xerxes to this location) while the second team are to begin detailed study of the upper levels already cleared of most of the obvious threats.
Delving deeper, the first team are set upon by a massive spider along with its smaller companions while attempting to cross a narrow stone walkway formed from a collapsed section of floor. During the battle the narrow walkway collapses completely and only the party's prior foresight in using safety ropes and Bollan's tremendous strength prevent Sevilin from certain death.
Dismissing the general consensus of the party to give up for the day, the Guildsman with them insists that the day has only just begin and they should continue onwards despite the missing bridge. Eventually the group decide to descend into the newly formed chasm and into the room beneath them, a reception or meeting room of some description which has now been concerted into a spider nest.
Clearing a doorway of webbing the team press on through the ruin. Passing through a kitchen and dining room the group encounter more and more signs of something currently occupying the ruin. Hargin manages to decipher some graffiti which leads to the conclusion that the ruin itself is currently host to a tribe of goblins. Equally surprising is the discovery of the original main entrance to the ruin, which something has kindly opened allowing daylight to pill inside a section of the ruin.
Investigating a leather bag left on the ground, the group are ambushed by a group of goblins. A group of goblins led by a two-headed orc (known as Gurun), supported by a kobold mage and with an ogre in their employ. In the ensuing battle Hargin is slain but ultimately the party triumph and take the kobold mage and one of the goblins prisoner. During the battle Daison and Sevilin were alerted via their familiars that some chaos was unfolding at the camp, moments later Daison's familiar was killed. Oddly enough the two-headed orc left no corpse but instead vanished as it died, leaving its black blade on the ground glowing brightly.
Not getting any satisfactory answers out of their prisoners, the party leave them bound outside the ruin and return to the camp to find it seemingly deserted. A few moments later a metallic figure in segmented armour appears, dragging the body of Artok into one of the camp tents. The figure shows some signs of having already been in combat with some cracks across its odd armour, although it is unarmed. Ambushing the figure, the party manage to defeat it, although it takes severe expenditure of their already depleted resources.
