Duel Arcana: Round 5 Match 2

For our afternoon match we now have entering the arena TarNoch and Casandrella.

TarNoch is here after a very hard fought match and he is facing Casandrella, who is currently the only undefeated duelist left.

We will see if she remains that way!

Please send me a private message with your prepared spells, spells cast prior to the duel, what you will have in hand, what spell(s) you will cast on the first round, and what action you will take on the 2nd round (either prepare to counterspell or total defense).

Tarnoch casts just three spells prior to the dual with the undefeated sorceress. He enters the arena without directly acknowledging his fans. The dwarf mosies in with crossbow readied and bows to the sorceress when she makes her grandest entrance to date. She cast quite a few spells in anticipation of Tarnoch's devestating capabiliteis. Casandrella enters the arena with her silvered dagger tucked into her belt and a scroll in hand.

Casandrella is starting with a scroll again.

She cast lesser globe of invulnerability this time, so TarNoch will have to make his powerful spells count.

Meanwhile it looks like Tarnoch is casting Nightshield again.

It probably saved his hide in the last match.

A tiny blade of force just flew over to take a swipe at TarNoch. That seems like a fairly minor spell to be opening up with.

A persistent blade spell and she did cause TarNoch to waste his counterspell on it.

I guess, well we will have to wait and see what her strategy is.

TarNoch has hit Casandrella dead center with a powerful rainbow blast, but the sorceress appears totally unaffected!

Knowing the dwarf’s capabilities and being familiar with the rainbow blast spell herself she took the precaution of casting a resist spell for every type of energy possible.

Meanwhile her little floating dagger took a piece out of him.

She is familiar with it alright, she has hit TarNoch with a rainbow blast of her own and it looks like he didn’t fair so well!

Great thunderclap spell, good for distracting a spellcaster, but not a finishing spell. I wonder what Casandrella is up to?

It looks like she is toying with the dwarf, he seems a little dazed. He certainly isn’t casting any spells.

Casandrella is taking advantage of TarNoch’s inactivity and with a multi-hued blast of color it is all over!

That final rainbow blast was just a little too much for him, but Sister Bessin brought him right back up.

TarNoch up or down it will be the undefeated Casandrella versus Darek in the final round.
