Her dreams are eternally haunted. Endless inescapable hallways, dark visions of nakedness, vulnerability, morph from one frozen thought to the next. She is aware of the passage of time, in a sort of way, and of paralysis, in another. The worst dreams are those of stasis - wanting so hard to shapeshift, but being unable to...or perhaps worse, wanting to remain, but changing uncontrollably.
Somewhen in the endless sleep comes the vision of Father, coming up the stairs to the tower, opening the door. The aching need to see him again, to ask him why, almost awakens her. The vision is so strong, so real, that she feels she can touch his mind. "Father...help me..." is all she can get out before the vision swirls into chaos, and shifts to a nameless chasing dread. In her dream, gravity shifts until walking is like climbing a steep hill, and she has to reach down and grasp the grass with her fingers to pull herself along, and she just...can't...run... fast...enough...
