Hey, I started this thread so that, you guessed it, we can all post our craziest charecters ever. You can either post a charecter based off how you played him that made him seem crazy, or by how you set him up which just made him a insane charecter. Either way is fine. For me its a little of A and a lot of B.
The cool charecter im posting to start things off is my newest one, Kamodan.
Kamodan is not your ordinary human, mainly because he isn't a human.
Kamodan is a Lizardfolk
Kamodan is not your ordinary lizardfolk, mainly because I applied the Half-dragon template and hes now considered a dragon, not a lizard.
Now if your already beginning to shudder, wait theres more!
Kamodan is not your ordinary lizardfolk half dragon, mainly because hes not a standard dragon type, hes a half fang dragon (See Monsters of Fearun). As such he is slightly different, he has level drain immunity, takes temp. ability damage instead of perminent, and instead of getting a breath weapons he gains +2 str, a extra 1d6 damage in grappling due to spikes, and his natural weapons increase one size in damage.
Think the fun is over? Wait theres even more fun left!
Now, looking at the STR bonus you see he gets +12 to str overall. Instantly youll probably jump to the conclusion that he is a fighter, or at least a melee class. But wait, he isnt, he is in fact a pure caster, and not just any pure caster, a Egotist Psion, who uses str as his main casting ability.
Now, if this isn't a crazy charecter I dont know what Is, a Half Fang Dragon Half Lizardman Egotist Psion is just insane (I might even throw in a level or two as fighter latter on).
Currently he is only a level 7 charecter, 2 lizardman, 3 from halfdragon, and only 2 psion, but already he is quite the powerful guy. He has insane bonus power points so can cast a huge amount of level 1 spells. He has the talon power so that he can deal extra damage, which he has enough free uses of to get by, and can cast lesser body adjustment 9 times a day, so can heal up to 9d8 hp each day. Of couse, combine that with the fact that this Psion has a a AC of 26 without the use of any items and you can see why he doesn't need to use them that often (His actual ac is 27 with a ring of deflection, and will soon start to be 29 with lesser natural armor and combat precognition).
Whats really insane is even though im planning on taking all 20 levels of Psion my charecter is still going to be a fighter type. He is going to use his Psionics to augment his natural fighting weapons and armor, and in so doing he is going to be quite crazy.
With bite of Tiger his bite damage will go up from 1d6 to 2d8, and with Claw of the Vampire, his Claw damage that was doing 1d8+10 Damage will be able to do heal him that much to, and since he gets 2 claw attacks he'll stay very health.
He can augment his claws further by casting the spell Diodemensional hands to give him a threat range of 17 to 20, and by using the spell painful touch to deal a extra 1d6 per attack
His armor is high as it is, but it is going to increase greatly to, using the level 4 spell natural armor, the level 5 spell Ectoplasmic armor, and the level 6 spell Shield of Prudence he will have a AC of 42 without items, and with a simple animal affinity, that can be raised a couple points along with his damage.
Whats more, all these powers will only take up a few spaces, and while he will be a fighting machine to match any melee class he will still have the powers a spellcaster has which makes them so useful, along with the ability to completely heal himself.
If this guy isn't insane I don't know what is, (Now I just have to get my +1 bracers of striking before I get more DR guys thrown at him, and a cloak of resistance wouldn't hurt either hehe ;))
Now for those of you who think I just made him to go on a power trip, your wrong. I actually played him because he is a very fun charecter to play (It was actually the DM who suggested I take a template, much to his current horrer ;)). I had a vision of a hunter type lizard who could scale walls and such, and thats the charecter I wanted to play (One handy ring of spiderclimbing latter). Being able to crawl along the roof is really fun (especially since were in the underdark with no shortages of ceilings lol). Theres also the scent feat, which allows me to annoy the other player to no end by constantly sniffing around lol. The only problem is that my charecter may just be a little to insane, and shreding appart enemies (Except that darn umber hulk, how was I supposed to know we should of run?) has caused my DM to start to search for monsters that are strong against my guys weaknesses (Last attempt was a stone golem, now its a gravel golem)
Thats my "Insane Charecter", If people want me to post his current stats I will. So come on people, share your craziest charecter, either because of the zany things they did, or the insane power they possesed
PS. You dont have to go into as much detail as me if you don't want, I just made my post this long because im a unredeamable bragger lol
PSS. Just wait till I get my DM to let me make him a Modified Psionic Lich ;)
EDIT: Correction, it was a stone elemental, and it is a gravel elemental
