Has anyone ever tried generating a character's stats with their DM using a die roller shared between themselves and their DM? To use something like Netmeeting and one of several programs that rolls up stats. Such programs could be the incomplete character generator by WOTC, or PCGen or one of the various simple dice rollers out there. You might even create your own die roller. I did at one point, write a program for any number of dice, and in any combination.
I keep thinking that if the DM has issues with a character's stats, this might be one way to generate them. In one hand the DM can see for themselves the actual die rolls, and the player has the chance to hit the rolling button. If the stats aren't to the player's liking, he can argue his case for a reroll or something. I just thought I'd put it up as an idea with the summer coming and DMs want to create a world that they can manage.
