It's just our luck of having a harddisk crash on us just as all them 3EBB folks come knocking on our doors ...

... and I'm hospitalized with an inflammation of my stomach's mucous membrane.

But before you go into any stressful state of mind such as being worried about poor ol' me, consider the fact that I'm already back home and still alive enough to post this...

I am aware that this site has some functionality that stopped working after the crash (due to PaVel upgrading to PHP5, not due to data loss); I will be upgrading the software that powers the site (which also introduces many nifty new functions), and then fix any remaining hiccups as fast as possible...

He has to be a type of corporeal undead to utilize the keyboard, I'm quite sure.

Poltergeist can move stuff. He might be a poltergeist. Danny, are you a poltergeist?

Edit: Or that.

Is orp mail included in that?

Is the Writers' Summit ever coming back?

It's only the main page and all the stuff on there that's down. The forums are still up as can be seen here (http://www.writerssummit.com/backend/forumdisplay.php?f=3)

Hmmm, now that seems to be gone as well.

I think is disapeared when orp was down before. I also think it's time we start planning a funeral.

Did you folks actually use it then?

I kept meaning to and those two kept trying to make me

I'm pretty sure about 80% of the stuff on that site was mine, and I've mentioned it to you at least once. But me, kinda Gral and even less BRR isn't much of a userbase.

Well, I hope you won't be angry if I take that as a "The site didn't become a success".
But now I have a vbulletin license spare to use again...

Before you go off on any exciting side projects again (I think we should try again with the browser based game) you should upgrade the orp and give us some of the features I keep hassling you about.

I have a query: On the top-level forum directory and in some sub-forums, dates are in a bizzare format. Is this a symptom of something which occurred while ORP was down?

LeeCHeSSS

Be more elaborate, where is this bizzare format, and what is bizzare in your eyes?

This is what I think he is talking about. 4th 2005f November, 2005, 08:44. From post #11 of this thread.

LeeCHeSSS

Fixed that date issue. It's because we are running PHP5 now...

Well, I hope you won't be angry if I take that as a "The site didn't become a success".
But it was just about ready to take off!

Okay, maybe not. Any chance you could archive the forums somewhere for a bit?

The actual site is still running. There's just no domain-name pointing to it anymore.

And if anyone has any bright idea's for the spare vbulletin license, I'm all ears - after I get ORP updated and automated (so BRR won't eventually grow tired with this whole site)...
