As the summer rolls around people leave games for various reasons. As such I now need a few replacements. Here are my openings

I'll join one of the lower-level ones. I'm still not entirely sure of the world this is in. I suppose that (Except for the dwarves) all races and most other things are as appears on the core rulebooks... Anyway, just tell me starting cash and stat generation and I'll jump in if I can.

Actually there are several races fo dwarves the commonone are those that appear in the PHB. Stat generation if 32 point buy startign items will be really basic equipment. money doesn't exsist alot fo more advanced weaponry doesn't exsist. There are no wars and not alot of metal to be had so no one has chain mail or long swords or a few other things. I've never actually played a low-tech game before... I suppose I'll try it anyway, and just be a sorcerer, since they don't need metal weapons or any armor. Bards are a bit high-matenance for this game.

Plus I have one and she has a 5000 year old artifact embedded in her head...you would be over shadowed. Also trogdalyte would be a nice class to pic as they are currently in a trog city. No they are not evil in my game. But honestly ANY race is fine. So long as they have two arms and a brain. Might need to get creative for your injection into the game, but humans are NOT the predominate race on this world any more.

The world isn't so much low tech as diffrent tech and isolated. One village might have irrigation but no scythes, another scythes but no axes. It is a matter of what the clerics of the goddess managed to destroy and abolish in each area and what taboos have stayed and what have gone. Look at the pike, mankind has been able to make them since ancient babylon but not really used until cavalry became a threat. You wont make and use somethign there is no need for.

2nd level. Pretty low tech wise, the party is currently in the worlds version of the underdark, on a mission for some good trogs. Party is currently a cleric and a psion, so pretty much any class will do. Very open for races and the like. Check out more about the world at http://barlarna.8k.com
