Andrellew Finnley was born in the city of Odril. He's fhe fifth child of a poor miner named Charles who died when the lad was seven from a tragic cave-in. The money his mother earned by washing laundry was hardly enough to feed her children At the tender age of ten Adrellew went to work in the mines to help his family eke out a meager living. Mining is dirty and physically exhausting and the child struggled to keep up with the other workers. He often felt inadequate and unappreciated by his family. Finn had trouble sleeping and had recurring nightmares of his father’s demise. Then one night the dreams stopped, that was when he first learned of the red moon and the soul journey after life.
Andrellew feared that one day he would share his father's fate and vowed to move on to a safer occupation. It was in the mines where he first realized his natural aptitude for skulking about in the dark. He would clock in and sneak off to enjoy the town all the while drawing his pay. Andrellew soon made friends with some derelicts from his neighborhood who had taken to robbing homes during the night. He had saved more coin in two months after joining their crime outfit than working five years in the mines. It's easy to understand why a life of thievery so appealed to the struggling youth.
By the age of fifteen the local authorities had Finn figured for a convict due to his growing record and the company he chose to keep. The young boy managed to evade any serious consequences, sometimes with nothing but good luck. Before long one of his friends was nabbed by the watch after a botched robbery that resulted in the murder of the homeowner. Finn decided that it was time to move to a better playground, one where he could start anew. Many tales of sprawling Edinway made their way to the streets of Odril and to Finn’s ever opportunistic ear. He left his family without saying goodbye so they could not reveal his destination to the authorities bound to come snooping after him.

Finn spent two years pilfering unneeded things from the locals in Birmoor before braving a trek through Bashir’s scar on his way to the big city. Finn is for Finn, first and foremost but works well with others when it suits his present undertaking. Finn has a strange sense of honor and even though he’s had to take lives in the past he does not rape or relish the act of murder. Often he’ll refrain from stealing keepsakes even when they appear valuable, just out of respects for his victims. Finn has learned a lot during his time in Edinway and has turned to adventuring for coin. It keeps the watch off his back, though the pay is not as lucrative. He stays in a modest room near the back door of outwardly rundown inn.

Description.

Finn is the nickname his mother gave him and it stuck, he has never repeatedly used another alias. He’s not very tall and cut very lean from the constant practice of his “Trade”. He wears high rise soft leather boots that weren’t cheap. Their black beauty borders a grey pair of trousers tucked neatly inside. He wears the master-crafted blade he “found” along the way in a scabbard designed to match the intricate scrollwork of the rapiers handle on his left hip. His favors the balance of his Kukri over a clumsy dagger and wears it on the right side of his belt. A dagger just inside each boot, and another for good measure sheathed at the rear of his belt between two pouches. Finn generally wears nondescript clothing of the current fashion underneath his cloak to avoid drawing more than a casual glance from others.
