I assume I should post my character stats and background here. I sent you an e-mail the other day with a preliminary character sheet and a couple of questions. Just wanted to make sure you got it.
Anyway, I plan on using nearly all my feats for martial arts type feats. Right now I'm leaning toward Empty Hand mastery, but I'm still considering going for Defensive Throw and/or Grappling Block instead. So many cool possibilities, I can't make up my mind :).

Go ahead and post your character I got your sheet and it looks ok. :)

Okay, in the end I went with Choke Hold. Improved grapple is pretty cool and choke hold should be useful for taking out unwary guards and such. Doubtful that it will be much use against your standard fighter (I'll probably have troube pinning them, plus they get a fortitude save) but it is very ninja-like.
Anyway, I came across an old post of yours on the 3ebb about various japanese martial arts styles you were detailing. Are there any new masteries available in this campaign?

What's your take on multiple prestige classes? I just came across the Bayushi Deciever (rokugan scorpion clan prestige class) and a couple of levels there would fit nicely - and keep me away from an experience penalty.
Would I need to join some sort of organization? And would that prevent me from taking Ninja Spy?

There are no new martial arts, I wrote those up along time ago but not for this campaign. For Prestige Classes I generally only allow for one, and I'll probably stick with that for this campaign. Also, im not sure if you know this but Cadrius asked the same thing, Clans from the OA book are from Rokugan and dont exist in this campaign - im not sure if you are aware, or just mentioned the scorpion clan's prestige class because earlier I said pretty much anything. :)

Nope, I had no idea Cadrius was asking about Clan prestige classes. I don't know much about Rokugan (just what I read in the back of OA), but some of it looks pretty cool. You're right, though, I just wanted to clarify what you meant by 'pretty much anything' :).
Okay, then I guess I'm pretty much set.

I'm a little unsure about how I'm supposed to proceed here . . .

I've been slacking off a little on posting, which may be giving you the sense of doing something wrong, just remember nothing you do is wrong. For now all you can do is enjoy the party and ponder about ways to gather information for your Japanese comrades back home.

Just out of curiousity, any idea how long before we actually end up joining some of the characters together? If you'd prefer to keep it secret I understand completely, I was just looking for a general idea.

Sorry for the delay, I only just got my computer back.
And to answer your question, it should be about a day or two game time, which depends entirely on posts here and posts somewhere else. (thats all you get sorry ;))

Thanks for the info, that's pretty much all I was looking for. I'm glad you're back, I've been missing this game. No problem about the delay, computer woes suck.

Ack! It seems Jun Pei botched it. I suppose that's what I get for having a lowly servant do my job for me . . .

I feel pretty bad having gotten Jun Pei killed and all. She seemed nice, too.

Nice. The creepy bastad is framing me!
Give me a little time to come up with a good dream. I'll post it later today. I do so love to write dream sequences . . . although I'm not sure how happy I'll be when I wake up :nervous: .

Yeah, no problem on being slow. I figured with both Maeko and Cadrius out that you'd want to slow my plot down as well. I just like to post because, well, I like to post :).
Every single game I'm in (8 at last count) has slowed to near death over the past three weeks or so. I guess it's just a crazy time of year.

Hopefully we can get moving soon, please forgive the slowness right now. But stick around, I promise things will get very interetesting. :)

If you can just post to start me off again, you just want to wake up in the early hours of the morning. :)

I don't have much to add there, so I'll wait for you to move things along. I understand if you've got to wait for one of the other threads to resolve something before proceeding.
