Name Soilbud

A short humanoid torso sat atop a wedge composed entirely of earth except for two black triangular eyes that look like voids in space. To some degree a Soilbud can chnage its appearance although its penetrating eyes and comprisal of elemental matter are two constants
Soilbuds are protected at all times by a shield which seems to unconciously protect them. A barrier of sand and soil leaps between any attack and the creature itself
Soilbuds are both difficult to capture (ignoring their rarity) and hard to train. A weak trainer will find that his companion ignores him on a regular basis
The mating habits of this species are unknown, the few attempts in captivity have ended in failure and the reproductive cycle of the species has never been witness (Due in part to their rarity)
