Maybe you can help stem my burning curiosity,
Why do you feel the need for an OOC forum? I've seen many DMs ask for them but they are never povided as the admins don't see a point in granting a forum to what will most likely contain a single thread.
Sam question with the IC forum really, I understand this one will generate more threads, but what does that leave to go in the root of your forum?
I'm not criticising your choices here, I'd just like to know if there is some clever alternative to the standard

:∙ Sorry, BRR, my bad; as a new GM I think I mixed up 'forum' and 'thread'.
I guess it's just one forum who will contain different threads, then...

No need to apologise, I was just curious

I should learn more about *how* things work on boards :)

That's the same reason I asked for an IC and OOC subthread thing in mine.
I didn't realise just anyone could make a thread.

Most people usually ask for a character forum and maybe an NPC or private DM forum as well. Maybe a people/places forum or just a places forum would help too, since this is a custom built world.
Just throwing out suggestions here.

But at this point I could manage with threads, instead of forums, I think :).
Any news on those characters? ;)

Now that we got the forum/thread thing sorted out I created the main forum. I'm not sure if you want the "World" Subforum or if your last post indicated you could do without so I havn't created it yet.

Don't bother about it, Cadogan, I'll go with threads.
Thanks a lot! :)
