Seems we survived the crash without any serious loss of data. Thank god for that.
I had to partially restore Sunday's backup, so everyone who registered before should be safe, the others might experience hickups (please write down any error messages and send them to me).
As far as I can tell the only thing that was lost is the entries to the "Location" field in those new members' profiles. I have tried manually editing those entries back in, but vBulletin seems to ignore that.
