Wouldn't it be less cluttered to use threads rather than entire forums for things such as the visitor section, ooc, character creation and such?

Take a swing through some of the other forums and you'll notice an unwritten but agreed best way to deal with structuring a game

Thats way too many subforums, let me make a few suggestions before I create anything...

A single thread would be enough for this.
Visitor Section
Again a single thread, you might even concider allowing visitors to post in the OOC thread
What The Players Know
A single thread again could compliment the needs of this.

PCs/NPCs
Depending on how much information you expect, a single thread might be enough. For example if your players only need to post once (character sheet) a single thread where everyone posts would be enough, if they post two or three times more (character sheet plus history plus misc. information) then you might want a subforum

Character Creation
If you have a single thread for characters, this should be the first post. Either that or write the Character Creation rules in the OOC thread.

Compleated Character
Redundant.

NPC Met/Defeated
Redundant, put this information into your "What the PC's know" area

Act I/Chapter 1
You don't need a subforum for the entire game, let alone for each act and chapter. Stick to threads: Creating a new thread every chapter if you please.
