I Must say that at first i didnot know these facts, but after coming back and reading them again, i can now honestly say, yes. Yes i did know that.

Also, this seems like a good enough place to ask.
Do deleted posts count towards your post total??

Your post count reflects just that, the amount of posts that are in the database. Thus, when a post gets deleted, your post count decreases.

Now, to make matters harder, when posts get PURGED, your post count does not change until WhoNAN or I click this nifty link called "recalculate post totals".

My guess as to the difference between deleting and purging would be that deleting is when a post is offensive, or for some reason not suitable for the forum and is therefor deleted. Purging is when there are too many posts and it is taking too long for them to load so they delete a mass amount of the older ones.

But I could be totally off on this.:)
