A minor annoyance, but is there any way to get rid of that damn attachment icon that appears next to the thread when someone attaches something to their post?

It makes absolutely no sense to me to tag the entire thread forever just because someone decides to post a picture of their dog. It's not like I make the decision to check a thread or not because I can see that someone attached something to it. Plus, (and this is my real gripe) it indents the thread and then it doesn't line up with the others! Yes, I'm a neat freak.

although I kinda see it's purpose, but it can be resolved witht he only fashioned (NSF56K) tag

Wow, I thought for sure I was the only person that cared :).

Anyway, you can insert gigabytes of pictures with the IMG tag and the thread doesn't get flagged, so I don't see it helping the 56k users all that much. Plus, the vast majority of threads on the site are on-line games. Certainly, those people don't care whether or not stuff is attached to their threads since they are going to read them anyway.
