I would like to request the deletion of all of my forums, except for Spirit Detectives. If a kind admin could archive the characters in the Spirit Detectives forum, I would be greatful. I really want to start that game up, but at the moment, I cannot hope to deal with the duties of GMing multiple games. I have AP work to do, and it's getting progressivly harder.

Spirit Detectives is being put on hold so that Sparda and I can rework it and actually have a well-developed game world to roleplay in. After winter vacation (sometime in December), I hope to bring Spirit Detectives back to life. As for my other games, Dark Forces and Philidelphia Nights, I have simply lost inspiriation.

On a happier note, I want to start either a Hunter game, or an Exalted game. I know the ST system very well, so GMing a game in ST format would be much easier on me. I'll post the in the character aquisition forum right now.

You may want to drop a note in the OOC of the games you are deleting to let the players know. From personal experience, it's really aggravating when a DM doesn't bother to tell you he is dropping a game - especially when you see he's still around and posting.

well Dark Forces never really started and it's been dormant for long enough that the players will most likely not be bothering checking the forum anymore

As for the other two though, I would have thought it didn't need saying that a DM should tell his players the game is over

out of curiosity who else did it , Gral?

Well, I suppose it shouldn't really need saying but seeing as he never bothered to tell the players in Dark Forces it was over, I figured it couldn't hurt.

And I'd rather not name names. It wasn't here though; it was at that-board-we-don't-mention.

Why am I not suprised that those games died? Practically every game we start in RL dies within a month, so I'm actually surprised that your still keeping the Spirit Detectives going. Perhaps its becuase it's with BESM, or maybe it's just becuase all the characters (Squeee for my thief!) are so utterly kick-ass in background and RPing. Plus, as you already mentioned to me, this board has probably the best bunch of Roleplayers I've ever seen.

Not meaning to sound rude or anything (or am I?), but I just thought I'd comment on these turn of events.

The games in RL don't work out because all of my players are morons. Sparda likes to play impossibly hard characters (remember the wizard with Exotic Weapon Prof for chains? He's never going to hit with the bloody chains!), Bob makes combat way too boring by drawing out his thoughts for hours (minutes, hours, same thing), Tiffany thinks she can do anything, and you, suprisingly, make fairly well-adjusted chararcters. One out of four isnt that good of a ratio, though.

MAYBE, if I can get you all to make wonderful characters with enough background material to allow me to make a friggin adventure that doesn't involve Kobold genocide, then our games would last longer. Oh, and on that note, I'm starting yet another new game. Gladiators can still be a bi-weekly event, cause its just fun to wantonly smash things into dust in front of a large audience, but I want a game with balance between RPing and combat. You see, my old 2nd edition group, which had the same characters for 4 years, would still be going now if 2 of the 4 members hadnt moved to other states. They had level 21+ characters! I think the highest level was 26 or 27. We could pull that off, if you guys help!

Wow, you never told me aobut your 2nd edition days. Didn't realize that we (by whcih I mean they :D) where so bad at these characters. Like the idea of a new game, and I agree with the Glad thing. Didn't mean to diss on you in my first post, but lets face it, all the stuff i said was true. Never said the games died 'cause of you, just said they died.

Get on AIM, you primitive, Private Message ignoring mammal!

And I don't mean to say that the other's characters suck... it's more of a blowing action... j/k. I just need some damn RP material!
