It seems the OOC thread in my game has gone missing. As near as I can tell it still exists as my post count hasn't dropped dramatically, but it certainly isn't visible. Anyone have any idea as to what happened here?

Yeah, I'm sure. My players can't see it as well and the thread has vanished off of the statistics page.

Just thought I'd mention: I suspect the thread ID for the missing OOC is #2032.

Invalid SQL: UPDATE thread SET lastpost='1066398233',replycount=replycount+1,last poster='Swashbuckler' WHERE threadid='2032'
mysql error: Got error 127 from table handler
That is the error mail that started a batch of 600 error mails; I ran a repair command on the database, and it must have fixed the database in such a way that the thread became invalid. I am not sure if I can restore it (either from what is still in the database, or from a backup).
Anyway, you can blame Swashbuckler ;)
EDIT: I think this is the best I can do: download the database backup from last sunday and load it in a text editor (a mere 150 Mb), search for the specific line that deals with the thread, copy it and insert it in the current database. Most likely it will either crash the entire database or reinstate the thread with the last posts missing...
Either way, I will demand a thank you for taking the time to try, since I'd rather be installing my new computer (P4 2.6 HyperThreading with 512 Mb DDR400 RAM) which I got for semi-free...
