Time Problem

The times are an hour off right now. I live in Eastern time (GMT - 5 hours), and it's currently 2:51 AM.

When I choose Eastern Time in my options, it displays the time at 1:51 AM(for example -- it's actually an hour before whatever it happens to be at the moment).

I have to put my options to Atlantic time to see the correct time, but I live in the Eastern time zone. Can this be fixed?

I think Daylight Savings messes up one half of the world. Because the time is right for me, but go back about 6 months and it was like you say, an hour off.

it's slightly annoying though that I'm on GMT+1 for purposes of getting the time right

Cad is right, it is never correct for the entire world, so we just leave it at this...
