Got a cool idea for a monster?

then give me the basics here

but remember
I do the rules, not you :)

just give a vague description, or a detailed one

Also, if you have a great idea for an attack, then let me know
Feel free to go to town withrules on that, as I don't really change those much

edit : I want to keep all the posts here detailing a new monster/attack. So if you want to comment or whatever use the OOC/visitor thread.

A monster based on a chest of draws.

A large powerful beast like creature which has the ability to phase around, sort of like a teleport. Uses this ability to mostly charge at an enemy phase out and phase in behind the foe delivering a powerful strike.

This was inspired by the card Rhox by the way ;)

??? - Can't think of a name for this :)

A creature with an insubstantial, liquid like form. This creature likes to increase its mass and incase/trap its foe inside its body, Incapacitating the foe in the process. However it is also fond of attacking while on the move, rushing at opponents in a slinky-like fashion :)

Type: Water

Yes that is the best way I could describe this thing :p

Xipsea, a saltwater fish 'mon.

Xipsea are a light green colored, very meaty fish, that normally range from 50 to 60 centimeters in length.

Is fairly tame, and relatively safe to most everyone. It tends to be one of the better fish for meals, and is bred for commercial purposes anywhere a fish farm can be set up. Most do not live to evolution for these reasons, so their second form is relatively rare. Their main powers involve speeding away from their pursuers rather than fighting, although they can deliver a very nasty piercing attack with their fins should it be necessary.

Persea, a large saltwater fish 'mon, and the evolution of Xipsea.

Persea range about from 2 to 4 meters in length, and like their younger cousins, the Xipsea, have sharp fins. However, Persea also have a jagged ridge for their upper fin, as well as a long sword-like snout to pierce their enemies with.

Unlike Xipsea, Persea go for confrontation rather than flight, and those Persea who have suvived being a Xipsea tend to be very dangerous adversaries.

Latbell, a deep saltwater fish 'mon.

Latbell tend to be no more than 20 centimeters in length, and have translucent, luminescent bodies, with a series of bright blue glowing patches along their sides. They tend to travel in large swarms, and despite swimming over 200m deep, their schools can normally be seen from shore.

The Latbell's main ability seems to be that of whirlpool like powers.

Ferrocigor

Ferocious

An evolution of mischeidan. It is around a foot taller and fas sprouted it's large bat like wings with around a four foot wing span. ferrocigor is a larger beast with a tendancy to be far more aggresive, while mischeidan avoids conflict ferrocigor actively seeks combat. Larger than it's predicessor it is also stronger and tends to swoop at it's opponents horns first from the air or grab them with it's three fingered claws.

Type Dark/Flying

Frenzigor

daemonic

Evolution of Ferrocigor. Around a further 2ft taller with a wing span of 8ft it's fur is black as opposed to the grey of it's post states, it's horns curved more ornately few are ever seen and those that are are virtually impossible to catch. it's aggression once again ups substantially, going into a form of blood frenzy which makes it almost totally uncontrollable. It tends to attack with little idea of defence slashing with claws before grappling it's prey and applying a maiming bite.

Type Dark/Flying

Note: folklaw and stories from woodland areas speak of "demon kings" that bear the same description as the Frenzigor only larger and with a fiery glow to the eye. Whether this is actually a real creature or not remains to be seen.

Rexul

Boulder lizard

Rexuls are solitery large lizards with rock like scales along the back, they generally are calm and docile during the mornings as they bask in the sun but in the afternoon become active hunters they can grow upto six feet including the tail and have a gray complexion, looking something like a monitor lizard. Their main method of hunting is to remain still amongst rocky outcrops until a potential prey item wanders by. They have a highly developed gullet and can spit their concentrated stomach acid up to thirty feet. They seldom attack anything over a certain size as they need to swallow prey whole.
It is found in mountainous or rocky flats areas only in summer as it hibernates over winter as there is too little sunlight to warm their bodies. In captivity they don't need to hibernate.

Type: Rock/Poison

Airach Queen

Factory insect

when a royal finds a suitable site it burrows into the earth and molts into a queen Airach around six times it's size. it can move just very slowly, and has no real attacks. It's main ability is to hatch larvae on it's back and use these to fight for it.
generally it isn't used for fighting but to create Drones for training purposes. or to milk it's royal jelly which is used in sweets (promotes healthy gums and chitinous exoskeletons)

Type Bug/Ground

(maybe instead a motionless bug it could be like a queen from aliens and detach it's egg sack and prod buttock but it could be an interesting evo chain it's a bit different)

I have an idea.

A mime monster. Basically it's huminoid, doesn't speak, and looks like a painted mime.

It would have attacks like Invisible wall, going downstairs, and turning into a statue.

Another idea. A Vampire monster.

It's basically a vampire. It drinks blood to survive, would have attacks like bite, drain body, mesmerise, a levitate ability, and probobly more.

Not sure if it should be smaller or normal human size. Would definatly have to be really rare though.

New pictures, trainer and misc cute monster.

Ideas for the monster, thus increasing the likelihood that BRR will use the picture.

Name: Mamoo

Type: Normal.

Misc: It should float and that tail looks custom made to attack things. As it gets more powerful the tail looks like it could stretch to do kinda ranged attacks, and possibly entangle stuff.

Type: PSYCHIC?

Dewdop

Harmless, Numerous and Annoying

A monster widely considered useless for the purposes of monster training and catching, the Dewdop is still considered one of the better 'mons for introducing children due to their simple nature and lack of danger. So far widely considered to be lacking attacks, in the wild it survives due to it's strange ability to reproduce in mass numbers within short periods of time when under stress. When not in large groups it tends to be a docile creature.

Appearing to be a round ball the side of an orange with short legs, tiny legs it uses for feeding and small eyes, the most striking feature of the Dewdop is the variety of bright colours they come in. It is thought that the colours are used as a defence against predators when the Dewdop is flocking, memorising or otherwise confusing their natural enemies.

This colourful nature has also resulted in passing fads where children will try to breed a Dewdop of a particular colour.

Type: Grass

Note: I would have this a grass/normal but I dislike mixed type monsters.

Rinki

Rat, Small, Secretive

Rinki's are small rat-like mons that are an uncommon, but widespread pet. In the wild the 'mon depends on stealth and native toughness to survive, coupled a few rapid attacks. The monster is more widely known for the domesticated version.

The domesticated Rinki are smaller and more lethargic then their wild cousins. Living for 12 years, they are popular with people who want a low maintenance slightly uncommon pet. The creatures are clever, and bond easily with their owners.
