Appearance
Clothes: Usually T-shirt and jeans. Sean has a penchant for shirts featuring designs with mythical creatures, with the phoenix and dragon being his favorites. His jeans are moderately loose, both for comfort and to ensure they can't get in the way if a fight should break out.

Glove: Sean's glove is a heavy, thick design in black. A red dragon with wings spread runs along the back. The glove's functional parts are inlaid on parts of the dragon; notably, the wings contain slots for tokens, and all the controls are placed as discreet nubs along the tail. The areas around the controls and tokens are reinforced, to prevent damage if Sean should have to fight while the glove is still on.

Born small and grown small, Sean's entire life has been shaped by the fact that he is essentially the closest thing to a dwarf that you can be without being declared to have a genetic flaw.

Sean, being the smallest around, naturally became the favored target of the groups of bullies and naturally cruel persons that are in every group of children. This being the case, he likewise naturally became very adept at running away, but this still wasn't enough. After a particularly vicious game of 'punt the runt', his bruised, battered, and alround appearance of having been Rocky's practice meat prompted his parents to two things. First, they withdrew him from public education and placed him in the private system, hoping the children there would be better behaved or, at least, better supervised. Second, they started him on the path that would eventually become the second part of his life-they enrolled him in martial arts 'self defence' lessons.

Sean continued in both courses of private schooling and martial arts. Now, he is at Southmead, paid for by some poorly defined 'athletic scholarship'. This appears very strange, as although Sean is undoubtedly very athletic, he does not participate in any recognized sport. Instead, his on-campus athletic activity consists of locating those who still prey on those weaker than they, and delivering a righteous ass-kicking. Both of these things are overlooked, perhaps because the discipline a lifetime of martial arts training has instilled in Sean allows him to be an exemplary student. Or, perhaps, the Foundation wanted Sean where they could keep an eye on him.

However Sean managed to stay at Southmead, the Foundation did eventually come into the open. They discreetly contacted him and informed him that they were considering placing him onto a team of monster trainer/warriors. Despite having not considered that as a possible path before, Sean quickly realized the advantages of a partner to share the troubles of fighting with, and a partner to help keep himself fully disciplined.

Sean isn't quite sure why the Foundation wanted him in particular..perhaps it had something to do with his unusually good physical condition, or his fighting skills. Or maybe it was just his apparent willingness to step beyond what others might call moral behavior in order to get what he thought was best.

Description
Looking something like a anthropomorphic hare or rabbit, these creatures aren't as powerfully built as most relying on physical attacks, however they embrace their strengths and weaknesses to use their superior speed. The species has an unusual unstable physiology which would suggest that a specimen could mutate, or evolve, into a higher form , currently however all evolution trials with the species have resulted in failure.
The creatures come in a variety of hues, this particular Kihare has it's soft fur a pastel blue with yellow-white region around it's paws

Description
Essentially a large spider. It's furry body is almost always patterned with stripes. The thick yellow stripes mean the creature is female. The rest of the body is black, including it's shiny eight black eyes and sharp mandibles. The front pair of "legs" are more arm-like in nature, and are sometimes to used in conjunction with it's silk creation to create specific more complicated objects
The species is also capable of creating webbing, although in most cases the spider silk is easily breakable. However some members of the species learn to concentrate their abilities and can imprison targets inside a silk cocoon as hard as Stone
