Combat/adventuring dress:
Dull black armor, Haversack over back, chain folded at waist. All magic items worn continually, even while sleeping. Half of miscellaneous gear in Haversack, half in horses' bags.
Sneaking dress: Same as adventuring, except haversack left behind, magic items tucked under armor if possible. Chain arranged on back, muffled to prevent extra noise, but still arranged so that it can be ripped out quickly.

Triren lived a normal Lunos life for the first several years of his life. Then, just before the raid on Lunos of 15 years ago, his parents decided to move. His father, tired of the slow pace of life in Lunos, packed up his family and took off to Andrion. Although the travel was without mishap, Triren's parents were completely unprepared for life in a city. They took rooms in the poor quarters, and the area's grifters and thieves rapidly discovered that they were easy marks. Triren's parents became broke in record time. Triren himself was booted into the streets as his parents became more and more concerned with their own survival. Triren survived due to the intercession of a small street gang. There, he learned the basic skills of the rogue. Triren rapidly showed a greater aptitude for working locks and traps than he did basic thuggery or digging for info, and he was held in reserve for those times when the gang encountered a barrier that couldn't be smashed out of the way.

Triren lived a somewhat happy life in this way until the gang went too far. The gang began to move in on the territory of Andrion's biggest and most ruthless gang, the Diamond Eels (leader had no sense of style.). The Eels didn't bother with warnings; they ambushed and slew nearly all of Triren's gang while they were attempting a robbery. Triren, knowing it wouldn't be long until the Eels came after him, decided this would be a good time to split town. He gathered up all the items the gang considered too valuable to take out on normal runs and rapidly took his leave of Andrion. He then made his way back to his hometown, figuring the Summoner temple there would provide protection if the Eels were vindictive enough to follow him. Triren, lost for a trade since Lunos was too small to support a thief, turned to crafting the items he had previously taken apart. He now fills a niche in Lunos's economy by making locks and traps for anyone who might need them, as well as exporting them to the local area. He keeps the remnants of his thieving days securely locked under his own best work. Triren is relatively happy in Lunos, but wanderlust is beginning to creep up on him and he's about ready to leave town and live dangerously again.
