For an age the gods were divided. Each had it's own church and the people were torn by frequent religious wars. Society began to crumble and the region became weak from the in-fighting. The region slowly shrunk as it clacked the strength to rebel outside forces. A cleric of Lilleth(Lady Valencia) forsaw the potential destruction of the region due to the violence and created the church of the core, she traveled spreading the teachings of harmony and combining religions, despite how difficult her goal was, she didn't give up. And the church of the core was born, shaped by each new cleric that joined it, until it was the loudest voice in the land and the churches of the singular gods could no longer compete. Shortly after it was established as the major religion however the cleric died from a heart problem (she dropped dead shortly after giving a rousing speech further securing the churches position), in accordance with her (and the stance of the church) she was not raised, but became the first Saint of the Core.
The region was almost united under religion and it prospered again, the only main contender was an ancient philiosophy that would not yield to pressure from the church, and without the leadership of St. Valencia they could not be swayed.
Despite including all the worship of "all" Gods, the Church is a religion with it's focus towards securing law and good, especially after the Silver Lady's death when the church banded together witht he heroes to ensure that the world didn't fall into chaos
The take on religion in this region makes the individual gods slightly less important. However, zealots sometimes worship a single God. And the common man will pay lip service to the relevant God at times which demand it.
A Cleric of the Core worships the pantheon rather than a singular god.
Symbol : A five-pointed star set in a circle with it's points just reaching past the edge. In the centre of the star there is a pentagon
