Familiars I've posted these in a different thread as they are rather lengthy
Death No one is sure what happens to the soul when the body dies, although it would seem that it remains somewhere as souls can be recalled through ressurection and other spells. Most that have died recall travelling a winding road that looked like a serpent, creatures called to them from the road side with promises of power. Some even remember the end of the road, where they claim a great hall stands and they were judged. Beyond this even less is known.
Raising the dead is frowned up on by the Church of the core and therefore is very hard to actually find a willing cleric to perform
Gods There has been alot less direct contact with any Gods since the Apocalypse. Some believe that V'ran and Xzar linked the gods with the world, its impossible to prove, but this could explain their lack of interaction and why the Kaiju have slept for so long. The Gods dwell on the divine planes, no creature has ever returned from these planes (or none with any memory of the planes), the nature of these planes is unknown.
The Sealing When the sacred stones were brought to the Altar of Balance by Targos (Chosen of Xzar), Delita (Chosen of V'ran) attempted to stop him. She was destroyed by the power of the stones, and Targos started the ritual that would bring Xzar into the world (he would become part of the world, destroying V'ran in the process and gaining unimaginable power). A group of valient heroes however launched an an attack upon Targos as he perfomed the ritual, unable to use the stones to aid him Targos was destroyed. However the ritual was partially completed and the world has shaken by the burst of power from the failed ritual. V'ran and Xzar no longer provide the faithful with spells, most believe that they were destroyed. However the other Gods were also affected and no God has had any direct contact with a creature, to the best of anyone's knowledge, since the sealing. [However divine spells are still provided, even spells such as commune]
This region however did not know of the exploits of Targos and Delita, however all have noticed the lack of divine intervention, although it happened so very long ago that most people have adjusted
Psionics Psionics are different(ish).Follow the Psionics are different rules with a few tweaks. Racial resistance to various effects (such as charm) work against both psionic powers and magical spells. SR grants a small measure of PR, and PR grants a small measure of SR, the exact amount is 1/3 of the higher score, if the other is higher than this ignore it. Identify and analyse dweomer do not work on psionic items, but there are versions of these spells for psionic items 1 level higher (and vice versa with magic items and psionicists). Psionic defence modes last until the defenders next round, but if the psion/psiwar wants to he can change his psi defence for each attack
A Psion has a secondary discipline, this is chosen at 1st level and ties that discipline to the ability score of the primary discipline (for example a nomad may choose Psychokinesis a his secondary discipline. This mean that both psychoportation and psychokinesis are tied to Dex
Skill Focus This feat grants a +3 bonus rather than a +2 (it did not seem right that some feats gave +2 to two skills while this gave it only to one)
Magic Armour Just like normal armour, magical armour needs to be refitted if it is not designed for a creature of your size category or general shape.
