A problem i've noticed

in the past my sig was in purple
now its a little collection of html code
just wondering what happened to make it change
has html code been dissallowed in sigs?

who knows a colour between magenta (too pink) and purple (too dark)?

Isn't violet a sort of muted magenta? Sort of a light purple?
