I am going to be starting an oriental adventures campaign using a world I have created around the new classes, races, and so forth. This world is much like Rokugan in the fact that much of it revovles around higher and lower castes and clans. There is a big difference in the clan aspect though because I have added 5 new clans each for a certain race. The Rhino Clan for the Dwarves, The Falcon Clan for the Elves, The Mantis Clan for the Gnomes(the minor mantis clan has been done away with), The Wolf Clan for the Altocs(altocs are a race I have created for this game), and The Asp Clan for the Varequiens(also a race I created).
As for the other races I have not adressed Halflings have no want for polatics so even though they have comunities and clan like families they do not participate in the political dealings of empire perfering to keep to themselves. Vanara and Nezumi also share a lack of want or need for polatics and are also not accepted by many races so they play little role in the clans. Korobokuru do not exist in this world. Half-elves are welcomed in both human and elven clans. Spirit Folk, Hengeyokai, and Half-Orcs are welcomed into some of the human clans.(meaning that The Crane clan would be likely to have many spirit folk and some hengeyokai the unicorn clan would be more likely to have half orcs in the clan with only few of the other 2) Finally as for subraces go only Sun, Moon, Wood, and Wild elves exist in the land, and the majority of the falcon clan are Sun Elf and Moon Elf families though there are a few Wood Elf families they usualy live along the southern woodland borders of the Falcon Clan's territory. Wild elfs live in many area but do not participate in the political affairs of the empire. Both shield and gold dwarfs exist and have equal dominance and power within the Rhino Clan. Finally on the race issue Water, Fire, Air, and Earth Gensais exist within the human clans but they are only part of a clan that has a shugenja school that uses an element of there type.(meaning Water Gensais are limited to the Lion, Pheonix, and Unicorn Clans, Fire Gensais to the Pheonix Clan, Air Gensais to the Crane, Pheonix, and Scorpion Clans, and Earth Gensais to the Crab, Dragon, Pheonix, or Scorpion Clans.)

As far as classes go all of the classes available in oriental adventures campaign book(Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, Ranger, Rogue, Samurai, Shaman, Shugenja, Sohei, Sorceror, and Wu Jen) are are usable, plus I am introducing a new class the Geomancer and a Ranger Variant for this campiegn.

As for the rest of character creation here is what you should do.
1.Characters are level 4
2.Stats 36 points for point buy system in DMG.
3.Feats all normal feats from PHB and all feats from OA sourcebook.
4.All skills from PHB amd OA sourcebook.
5.starting equipment any starting equipment that is automatic for your class,(ex. Katana and Wazikashi for samurais) and then max starting gold. all items from OA sourcebook are allowed, and items from the PHB will be allowed on a case by case basis because some of them are inapropriate for a campiegn world such as this.
6.come up with a good background and history for your character I would also like so behavioral traits for your character.
7.A good physical description is necessary
8.Be original I may give XP bonuses for really original and unique Ideas.
Well thats about it. I hope to get lots of joiners as soon as possible, and I can't wait to see those character concepts.
