Mother's Bar and Pleasure Palace

Built on the remains of a blasted out bomb shelter (liberally expanded and fortified, of course), Mother's Bar and Pleasure Palace is arguably the center of Hatchet City. Mother Superior (typically known as Mother) founded the bar some years back after the original owner, an armed squatter, made some poor choices in controlling his gambling habit. For the first couple years it was little more than a semi-safe stop for the night on the Two-Twenty, but as time went on, and people began to show up more and more often, it gradually grew to the semi-sprawling structure it is now.

Inside Mother's you can find all manner of drink (so long as "all manner" includes not being picky, and not asking what the source is) and depravity. Mother's has perhaps a score of private rooms for overnight stays or hour long rentals - at any given time 5-6 of those are occupied by semi-permanent residents.
