You can still have your little talk. It's not like you guys have gotten off the ship yet. Jeez, calm down there sparky! :P

naw itwas all part of the set up and stuff. plus jsut from a RP point of view. whey would i sit in a ship for 3 days and not talk about anyhting that we needed to talk about, some of whic invoed our pilot, destination, and goals. that would be prudent to discuss before we get to where we were going
there is a lot of role play to be had, and that needed to be had that was just skipped over

Well, you're a creative guy. I'm sure you can find some way to still work it into the story. To be fair, though, I asked everyone about chapter two, waited two days, then posted it. So, you had time to initiate the conversations you mentioned.

just add it at the end of chapter one :yum:

Problem is that we've already started Chapter 2, so I closed Chapter 1. I could reopen it, or Ool'yn could just improvise and talk to you before you get off the ship. I'm sure it'd work out just fine.

Sweet, so do we know if there is any type of humanoid life on this planet?

Anas

You'll have to ask Ool'yn that in-character. He's the one with knowledge of galactic lore.

Anas

*slap slap slap!

Anyone alive out there? Ool'yn, thought you were going to pull Je'Koth aside for a little talk.

Xann, thought you were going to ask Ool'yn about the planet.

Where is everybody?!

/cry

Busy, ha. Real life, ha. A gamer craves not these things.

It's all good. I was just wondering if everyone was waiting for me or if they had other stuff going on. Looks like it was the latter.

...hello. anyone home?

Anas

Yeah, I'm still here. The thing is, Ool'yn is tired of driving the story. He'd post a descriptive paragraph or two and all he got in response is an overly dramatic sentence. And even when he wasn't posting the exchanges were minimal and didn't really develop anyone's character. This is the same reason he lost interest when we were playing it in person. He wanted there to be more storytelling and intrigue between the rest of you as well. Unfortunately he told me that he is no longer interested in playing, so here are our options.

1. We can continue without him.
2. We can stop altogether.
3. I can take over his character and drive the story.

I really don't want to do option 3 because I know how the story progresses, and that allows you guys to stop thinking for yourselves. However, if that's what you guys want, I'll do it. Let me know.

I have 3 ideas
1.) I Kill him
2.) or he catches a fever and dies
3.) he gives his account to a friend who could take over for him

IG44

I like the give a freind his account idea, the only two problems I see with this is who are we gonna find that fits the character, and just like me and dabocim, whomever we pick is going to be on a power trip and trying to make their character more BA then everyone elses.
I am also not completely oposed to just stopping all together, this way we can either try a different type of universe to roleplay in, like D and D or zombies or something, or try a different story line, same universe, with new characters.
Either way, we do sorta need to try and make the posts more interesting, and stop driveing our characters like they are all the coolest most powerful thing in that part of the universe since Vadar.

Well, I'll be playing Ool'yn for now. Eventually Je'Koth will kill him, and that'll be that. Just a few things that might help with the posts...

Xann, you're fine. You're putting an appropriate amount of detail into your responses.

Je'Koth, stop acting so melodramatic and "epic". Your character is starting to seem more like a Bond villain.

Glas Aon, it'd be nice to see more posts from you, but I know you're hella busy this last semester, so I won't hold it against you.

To everyone, you don't have to wait for me to post something to continue the story. You guys are driving it. I just fill in information where it's needed to assist you in your decisions. For instance, right now Glas Aon knows about the tram system...hint hint.

Do Cereans even have eyebrows?

Anas
18th of March, 2010, 11:42
Haha, yes, as a matter of fact they do. And they can have a full head of hair. It just so happens that in the movies the only Cerean we ever see is Ki Adi Mundi, and all his hair is flimsy, thin, and white. It's hard to even tell sometimes if he has any.

Also, please stop using this blue for your language. It's one of the few colors that I honestly cannot read because of my eyes. It blurs together, hence why I changed it in your last post. Thanks.

And finally, I'm not going to drive the story through Ool'yn when you guys are perfectly capable of doing things yourselves. Trying to get Ool'yn to lead the way, even if it's in-character, is not going to happen. If I were to do it, then there's no spontaneity because I know exactly where I'm going and what to do to get out of the current situation. One of you needs to take the initiative.
