hey what up?
My name is adam (why not put this on a personal level?). anyway, I'm new but would like to get into this. I'd Gm for a White Wolf game (anythings good, but kuei-jin is my favorite WW), CyberPunk 2020, Ledgend of the 5 rings, or D&D. I'd also like to play any of those games, so if anyone thinks this sounds good, just email me or leave a post

Welcome to the Boards Adam, :)

The best ways to get into Play by Post games on this forum is one of two ways.

1. If you want to DM, advertise your game in this forum. Give the general idea (its D&D 3rd edition, Home Brew with all its coolness!) and an idea about what the players will have to work with (1st level start, 29 point buy and maxium starting gold!) and then just wait for players to reply.

You won't get replies right away, and sometimes you won't get replies at all but never fret just keep on posting periodically untill someone gets interested. Once you have players you can request a Forum to play in by emailing Admin@Online-Role-Playing.com.

2. If you're wanting to play, have a look at some of the posts in this forum left by other DM's who are advertising their games if something sparks your interest, post a reply saying you'd like to join or play. If the game is full just ask the DM to add you to a reserve list or keep you in mind if he needs an extra player.

These are the easiest and most reliable ways to get into or DM a game, since DM's visiting this forum to post an advertisement rarely read other posts unless they themselves want to get into a game themselves and don't often see players advertising themselves as you have and while Players read threads its easier spark their interest with a idea what the game will be about. :)

"The Name Game" thread has rules for the game I'm starting. Get ready for characters more inflated than the tags on "The Price Is Right".
