Keep in mind that this is my first try on creating an epic spell. I'll fill in the development cost later.

Effect: Rift of ice and one summoned elder ice paraelemental
Duration: Instantaneous/20 rounds (See text)

Spell Resistance: Yes/No (See text)
To Develop: Seed: energy (DC 19), summon (DC 14), Factors: +5d6 damage (+10 DC), +9 CR (+18 DC), reduce casting time (+18 DC), Mitigating factors: Reduced damage die (-5 DC), halve range (-2 DC)
The caster forms a large spike of ice, which when thrown to the ground causes a massive rift 10ft. wide and up to 75ft. long. Anything caught in this wave of cold spikes takes 15d4 points of cold damage (Ref half). After the wave stops, it instantly pulls together to form an elder ice paraelemental, which serves you for 20 rounds.
